    Growing PDF awareness

Unfortunately in the case of my products, we design assuming they will be printed. Hence doing a layout of that sort requires the entire product to be redone. A time and cost that can not be recovered through the current PDF sales.

New Mounted prestige class to be torn apart and balanced!

My take on it.. You seem to be giving 3 things at first level.. lets balance that out a little. You want to try and make it so that the player doesn't just take the first level of the prestige class to gain all those things. First, move the mounted AC bonus so it doesn't start until 2nd...

    Excalibur d20

No.. not until he builds his cathedral upon it :) Of course based on how he builds it, he might have to worry about it getting stuck by lighting.. or having a earthquake level it. I meant from it all being ley lines.

    Excalibur d20

Um, isn't that all the same thing? Or are you saying they are stuck in the mindset of needing those objects? Both the stone circles and cathedrals tended to be built upon ley lines.

    [Khan's Press] Blood Tomb

Please tell a bit more on this. Because I'm hesitant to buy something that seems like it will pit my starting adventures against a situation with a Lich. I'm assuming that isn't what is occuring, so I'd want more information to sell this to me.

    Alternate Spell Components...

Not overthinking it if the particular DM doesn't make pearls available. Or wants to consider a balanced economy for their world.

    Alternate Spell Components...

Costs of specific material components always comes into the equation when they are so specific... such as 100 gp pearls... Where do they have to be worth 100 gp? If I bought my pearls near a coastal area... do they have to be worth 100 gp there? Or would it be 100 gp worth in the area the...

    Magical Candies?

You know there is a certain product by Mystic Eye Games that involved a spell for hiding objects in a candy... Now which product was that?

    What's Up With Organized Play?

Yes, it could possibly be your firewall, because they are using port 8180 instead of 80, or 8080.

    The e-publishing support group

Actually depending on what those layout ideas are, they may fall under trade dress.... I think that would cover it a bit stronger than a gentleman's agreement, so it shouldn't be a problem.

    The e-publishing support group

Perhaps: "I shake'a the spear at it and hope it goes away." or maybe "We don't need no stinkin' rulebooks." This was Rockeatter Shakespear, the great Orcish Chief, right? :)

It was the 3.0 SRD, new SRD version is out.... hence the age of it isn't necessarily part of the equation.

    MEG Campaign Planner Challenge

My quick feedback on the Campaign Planner. In my oh.. guess its got to be over 20 years now of gaming, I've never really used such an item before. Is it absolutely necessary.. No.. definitely not.. as the past gaming experience shows.. (I didn't have one before.) Is it something that we can't...

Third Party Publisher designation and logo

Actually Mark that answered it. The other logos had some sort of intending goal. You didn't. Makes it much simpler than having us try and read something into the intended goal. With the amount of other logos floating around, and the timing, I made the mistake of assuming that you were...

Third Party Publisher designation and logo

That is correct from the perspective of the game rules, however not from the materials. If I design a setting utilizing the game mechanics of d20... I am a third party to the d20 materials. I am a first party to the setting. The third party to the setting would be someone I allowed to use the...

Third Party Publisher designation and logo

It is the Third Party of what exactly? Does the customer know by that logo, that the material is the 3rd party support of Dungeons & Dragons? (Nope.. no Dungeons and Dragons logo on it.) Third party support of d20? (But then, they have to know that d20 means that it is a 3rd party of Dungeons...

Is Disable Device a redundant skill?

Yes. You wouldn't believe the number of times I've put things back together and ended up with spare parts that I don't know where they came from. Half the time I think there are extraneous parts in electronics now a days :)

Third Party Publisher designation and logo

I have the problem with the concept of a third party designation. Sure, I release products under the d20 license... and I am a 'third party' to the Dungeons & Dragons.... But I'm a first party of my own d20 materials. So take a look at the licensing of use of other d20 materials. Such as...
