I think you misunderstood. I was saying that the realms are not as happy go lucky as many presume and that even though WH rules in the WH setting is really grim, WH rules would fly just as well in the realms.

Mundane treasures make the hoarde more believable. Its unlikely that a Ogre will have 1000 gp in a sack, but a few art objects and nice stuff, and it becomes much more believable. Aaron.
