Wes Schneider probably does. I'll try to direct his attention here tomorrow.

    Let's read the entire run

To provide a bit of background on behind-the-scenes stuff going on at this point in the magazine's history, here are a few bits of information people may find interesting. At this point the day-to-day operation of the magazine business had transitioned completely to Paizo, with some editorial...

Kim Mohan & Others Retire from WotC

The guy in the middle in the camo pants is Matt Adelsperger, the graphic designer who did DarkMatter. He's now an art director working mostly, I think, on novels.

    The "Lost" Planescape Sigil Book

LOL. I just saw this thread title and clicked on it because it sounded interesting, only to discover that I started it 6 years ago. EN World, I love you!

    Let's read the entire run

My memory tells me that the inclusion of paladins in Dark Sun--pretty hugely controversial at the time--was mandated by D&D management, who wanted to make sure that the whole world of D&D rules options were open in every campaign setting. As Dave Noonan was working at WotC at the time and we...

Emerald Spire Superdungeon: Mona, Baur, Mentzer, Jacobs, Greenwood, Rein•Hagen, Etc.

It's important to understand that the RPG Print Pack includes, at minimum, 6 Flip-Mats to help you run the dungeon with miniatures. I can understand not caring too much about a novel, but man, those Flip-Mats are going to be AWESOME.

Emerald Spire Superdungeon: Mona, Baur, Mentzer, Jacobs, Greenwood, Rein•Hagen, Etc.

That's a great point. I really like including rooms with various elevations to keep combat interesting and three-dimensional. I'll make sure to suggest that the rest of the team look out for opportunities to do the same.

And now this Forumite is designing 5th edition D&D. It's always fun to see future pros pop up as freelancers, D-mailers, or Forumites well in advance of their professional association with the game. --Erik

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Battles: Rise of the Runelords Minis

Ok, I get where you are coming from. The practicalities about why what you propose is not feasible have been gone over at length elsewhere, so I won't repeat them here. I do see how the set is an easier investment (in terms of money and time/hassle) for someone who is already committed to using...

    Let's read the entire run

I'm confident that HQ had shifted to PDF distribution of scenarios by this point. Living Greyhawk was PDF from the start, and never involved physical shipment of products to conventions or game days. Much later, there were printed modules sent to game stores (and the promotional "Adventurer's...

You're right, of course. I've edited my original post to make it significantly less dickish.

    Free RPG day..

Izzat a kobold jumpin' around on that cover? By the way, I think crowdfunding a promotional book for Free RPG Day is a pretty smart business move. Nice strategic thinking! --Erik Mona Publisher Paizo Publishing

If all the designers who left WotC...

It's not measurably different, really. Writing rules is very difficult, but writing an adventure is actually synthesizing those rules within a context, which takes a certain amount of skill with the rules. Monte Cook is a good example of someone who excels in both disciplines, but there are...
