I can understand the confusion. Al-Qadim is the name of the campaign setting, but not really a location of any sort. Zakhara is the name of the continent the setting takes place in, also referred to as The Land of Fate (also the name of the original boxed set). So yes, this is VERY related :)

The secondary market price on lots of older RPG books have been going up. Many 3E books are really expensive now, especially stuff that had a small print run (try to find a copy of Monster Manual V...). It's not just D&D either. I was trying to pick up some of the older Battletech books...

My experience with the stickers Half Price Books uses has been that they are easily removed and leave no residue at all.
