Shadowlight, I have PhotoShop 6.0 and I would LOVE, I mean LOVE a full on tutorial on how to create maps with it. So far I have been unable to find anything like it out there. I looked high and low for one, and since I didn't find one I posted this thread here. So once I turn on the grid...

carpedavid, the link you gave doesn't work for me... :( Emiricol, that map took me a while to do. As for a mailing list on that sort of thing there may be one but I don't know about it. What I did was pencil the map first, setting up all the terrain details and the shapes of the contenients...

Nice Seasong, what if instead of Mud it was some form of magical quick silver? Fiends could be relaxing in it (they are immune to poison) but any PC who enters could be harmed by it. What would the effects of quick silver be? What does the stuff do to you in real life, I know it's deadly poison...

Well, the abyss is infinite, by its chaotic nature it could never conform to something as rigid and contained as having a set number of layers. 666 layers is a number that some philosophers and sages have tried to give to the Abyss, however, the Fraternity of order has catalogued more layers...
