    Adventure: Echoes of O

As Rabbit points the sunrod at the thing, it hisses and lunges toward him with its claws. However, it lunges too late, and a before it can get to Rabbit the full force of his magic blasts a gaping hole in what would have been Rebekkah's stomach. The thing spasms wildly, and soon is gone. (That...

    Adventure: Echoes of O

To get sneak attack damage, you need to be flanking a target. Which means somebody's gotta be on the other side of the target you're hitting. No sneak attack on A8. You could SA C6 from C7 or D5 from E5. You're not flanking A8 from B8. I think. I'm a little hazy on the flanking rules.

    Adventure: Echoes of O

Ash nods at Les' command and lashes out with his dagger at the bloodied apparition before him. His attack hits the creature in the back, and the thing's whole body spasms in retaliation. Its arms and neck flail wildly in a blur of movement, increasingly faster and faster. The creature is getting...

A couple abilities in Martial Power seem WAY too good...

You can only use one action point per encounter. The horizon walker makes using that point to take a move action more attractive because basically you can do that EVERY encounter in a day.

I tried to warn ya, man. Gangs of New York meets Japanese horror flick. Although upon reflection, perhaps The Warriors is better choice than Gangs of New York. "Adveeeenturerrrrrs! Come out to plaaaaaaaaaay~"

    Adventure: Echoes of O

Raiyek's attack hits the creature, who's outline is now blurred (hits, C6 is bloodied). The creature that Raiyek had challenged turns to him and unleashes its scream, and this time the elf's mind feels the full force of it. He remembers being cold and wet and alone, so very alone. And in pain...

    Adventure: Echoes of O

Kruk swings his axe at the thing that assaulted his mind, and although the attack did not hit as well as he had hoped, the creature's outline blurs even further (reaping strike misses, deals 4 damage. Target is marked and bloodied). One of the Rebekkahs shambles toward Raiyek and lashes out at...

    Adventure: Echoes of O

Ash lunges with his dagger and it connects. Or does it? It's hard to tell; the blade definitely hit something, but it didn't feel like flesh. Nonetheless, the creature reacts, its arms spasming so fast that they are a blur of movement. Even though the creature is standing right next to you, its...

    Adventure: Echoes of O

In order to flank F9 with Kruk, you need to be in either F10, G10 or G9. You only provoke an AoO for LEAVING a threatened square, not entering one. Good rolls, though; I'll let you keep them as long as you end your movement in one of the three abovementioned squares

    Adventure: Echoes of O

At Les' command, Raiyek lashes out at the darkness, hoping to hit one of the skulking things. Despite its lethargic movement speed, it nimbly dodges the elf's attack. 7 Rabbit wraps himself in a pale light and advances toward his foes. One of the things moves from the shadows to the light, its...

    Adventure: Echoes of O

Before Raiyek can react, the thing lets out another shriek, this time directing its full might toward the elven paladin. He braces himself behind his shield, but the scream is so powerful, so immense, so unhuman that he feels himself being pushed back by the force of the attack (attacks with...

    Adventure: Echoes of O

As Raiyek approaches the figure, he notices more details; its skin is smooth and unblemished. There isn't even trace of dirt underneath its fingernails, which is normally a telltale sign of someone living on the streets. In contrast, its rags are covered in dirt, dried blood, stains of vomit...

lol, this issue touches you. That being said, I'm sure that MP will get passed within the next few days anyway, I just figured that I would submit him now rather than wait until then, mostly so I can hang out in the tavern and possibly get started on some adventurin'.

i don't see why the discussions can't continue, i just don't think that one or two overpowered feats / build options should hold up the rest of the book. just approve MP with the caveat of no BRV / marked scourge, and continue the discussion from there.

I submitted Lorik, who uses a smidgeon of Martial Power material (Footwork Lure as one of his at-wills and Group Assault as his first feat). Neither of these have been presented as overtly broken material, so I'm assuming he will get approved. I don't see why discussions over the power level of...
