    D&D 5E (2014) EN5ider #350 - Mini-Adventure: The Devil's Maze

Cool....but you uploaded the cover JPG instead of the actual adventure :(

D&D 5E (2014) The Gaming Gang Pages Through Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden

It's actually a construct. In one of the earlier articles about the adventure on ENworld, they showed the mini - which looks awesome - so it's more of a construction flaw than an unhealthy lifestyle ;)

    D&D 5E (2014) Making technology eldritch

I know it's because of my typo but the idea is not half bad...and not just because it reminds me of Killer Klowns from Outer Space, which I love for its cheesiness... But some sort of creature similar to a clown with a chillingly cheerful demeanor and " tricks" that are actually deadly traps. "...

D&D General For the Love of Greyhawk: Why People Still Fight to Preserve Greyhawk

One of the few genuinely good things to come out of 4e. I have to say, Nentir Vale and the whole Chaoskampf-inspired Dawn War-backstory were so good, in my opinion, that I happily lifted them and put at least parts of it into my 5e games.

Radioactivity! Damn, why didn't I think of that?

    D&D 5E (2014) Making technology eldritch

Hey! My current campaign is roughly based on Darkest Dungeon with the characters trying to bring back order to a lawless stretch of land devastated by the cosmic horrors the lord unleashed. In addition, there are also brigands terrorizing the few inhabitants of the land. The characters have just...

    The Batman Trailer

And ages a 1000 times worse than practical effects. Just compare the original The Thing (from John Carpenter) and the prequel. Night and day.

    D&D 5E (2014) The New D&D Book: Tasha's Cauldron of Everything!

I counted the fingers...it's definitely Graz'zt in the alternate cover - which is the one I am getting, as I have the alternate covers for Mordenkainen's and Xanathar's, too. As I said, not sure we need new sub systems for parley, but I just thought of something...if racial traits become...

    D&D 5E (2014) The New D&D Book: Tasha's Cauldron of Everything!

Hmmm...on the fence about this one. I like the idea of customizing racial traits and getting more options for classes and subclasses. Not sure we need a whole new set of sub-systems. Why do we need rules for parleying with monsters? Some creatures you can try and talk to and maybe you can use...

    The Batman Trailer

I'm with you. It's not all remakes and spectacles, though these make up a tiringly large amount of all releases. Nonetheless, I could name a few good and original films from the last years off the top of my head: Knives Out, Ready or Not, Guns Akimbo, Gretel &Hansel, 1917, Atomic Blonde, the...

    The Batman Trailer

Take a look at all other incarnations of Batman in film post-Adam West. They ALL had dark eyeshadow because otherwise it would look awkward under the mask.

    The Batman Trailer

Which could be a good thing. I myself am a bit burned out on all the big spectacle blockbusters a la Avengers etc. Cheaper does not necessarily mean bad - and there are a couple Direct-to-DVD or Direct-to-Streaming releases that are pretty decent. It could even force filmmakers to gasp get...

Worlds of Design: What's in a Name?

I used to struggle with finding names but have become better at it lately. Some examples: Pardan - born from a misreading of the (badly scribbled) word Paladin. Gernard Reinholdsen (Warhammer character) - a bad pun that only works in German and is too awkward to explain. Augusta (another...

Green Ronin's Sword Chronicle Now Available

Hm...I kinda feel like checking it out. I am not (well, no longer) a fan of GoT, but this sounds like something I could wrap my head around.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

Indeed. He is not obliged to do anything. Just as I am not obliged to keep my interest in a series that is on an indefinite hold.
