You're not alone! I was about to post the same thing. Admittedly, I've never used Shadar-kai in my 3e/3.5 games, but I already have big plans for them in 4e.

I believe this was addressed in one of the podcasts...not sure which. The response was that SWSE would continue with its current ruleset following the release of 4e, but the option of eventually releasing a new edition of it was not wholly dismissed.

My favorite feature is definitely powers for everyone, all the time. Also, the Will/Encounter/Day split. Also, Wormwood's #3 is a shift I can look forward to.
