    EPIC M&M: Issue 6 (IC)

"Healers, no - but not all Directives are healers," X12 says as they start back towards the jet. "The one we just encountered also had some sort of neurotoxin. We've met another that can disintegrate things by touch. Regeneration seems rampant among us - I don't think I've met any Directives...

Dusk - Balancing Spellcasters without their spells.

Maybe you should start with beginning statistics somewhere between the druid/cleric and the wizard/sorcerer. Go with the Int +4 Skill points, go to d6 HD (up from wizard/sorcerer, down from cleric/druid), keep Wizard/Sorcerer saves. Use skill lists to separate the classes. Skill lists should...

Constantine - My review (3 stars)

After I made my initial post, I went and did some research on Keanu, and found out the same things. Just in case the tone of my original post was ambiguous, I actually like Keanu Reeves - he's been a lot of movies I really enjoyed. Even if he's known for a particular type of portrayal, oh well...

X12 takes the man's gratitude graciously outwardly, inwardly cringing at the violation of his personal space, and sighs in relief when the doctor drags him out. "That was awkward," he says, wiping his hand on his pants, "but I agree. Prophet doesn't strike me as the kind to use kindness for...

    EPIC M&M (OOC Thread #2)

For about a week now I've been losing my mind, trying to figure out how Empath is in two places at once... until I realized that we're about 12 days ahead of the other group... Duh... :D

Constantine - My review (3 stars)

There's nothing wrong with sticking to what you do well. Pop stars sing syrupy pop their entire career, make lots of money, and generally go on to be happy, wealthy middle-aged has-beens. Keanu will play detached characters into his thirties or fourties, retire with a vast fortune, and will be...

I just witnessed the new posts' layout...

Yeah... I'm not too keen on it, personally. I've grown really used to the way it was, to the point that it was really disorienting when the change occurred. Just saw Michael's post - Thanks, I really appreciate your work.

Races of the Wild - First Impressions

Actually, by the core... I'd probably still take the second - the first sounds nice, but all the oomph is up front and static. The second is dynamic: I get the choice of the feat, I get the choice of the skill, and later on I get to choose where that skill point goes.

Races of the Wild - First Impressions

That +4 skill points is a maxed Spellcraft right off the bat, or maxed Knowledge (arcana), leaving your other skill points for your other skills. While Wizards get the benefit of having high Intelligence for skill points, this boost in skill points for humans still makes a difference over elves...

    Deepwater's Despair

"I'm not a strapping soldier like most of you - I can't carry what I own on my person. Anyway - carts provide cover; you all may take cover behind it when they start shooting poison arrows at us as well," Prenadlin replies.

Because she's a stone cold b:):):)h. She wanted to make someone else's life a hell, and apparently she did - her daughter, her husband, and I'm sure her elderly mother is enjoying all the harrassment they're receiving. 7-13 Sleepy Hollow (1999) - I like both, but Christina Ricca seals the deal for me... :D Abstain - haven't seen either. Dragonheart (1996) - I like this movie a lot... The Fifth Element (1997) - Sure it's guilty pleasure... but I'm happy to be guilty. Army of Darkness (1993) - Hands down...
