Hey now, thats two skill feats worth taking. You're keeping me on my toes here ;) I guess I'm just passe about the +3 to one skill or +2/+2 skill focuses. With all the variety of feats out there to add to your character adding a miniscule bonus to a single skill (or two) seems boring, almost.

I like that idea. It's elegant. So, I'm curious - what are halflings? Are there any other interesting histories you created for other normal / not so normal races?

Depending ... But you could use a magic enhancement to seriously beef up your daggers damage dealing potential. I've seen it statted a few ways - either called Potent (Stone & Steel) or Scaling (Forged In Magic). Version A) +1 Bonus = +1 Scale (Cap is either +4 or +5) Ex: +0 / 1d4 = +1 / 1d6 =...

In games I've played in, if a PC rolled a 1 for HP while gaining a level they were allowed to roll again (I mean, really ... 1's do suck ...) I personally like the Toughness of +1/level with Con Req of 13+

I like Montes idea of giving free beginning ranks away to mold your character. Though I wonder - does anyone ever take use of the skill enhancing feats? Do you think a +3 Crafting bonus or +2/+2 Stonecraft/Stonecarving is worth it?

I know what you speak of. I remember something along the lines of it have goods and depending on events or rolls it would go up or down in price. Blue and tan colors come to my mind. It should be ooold though.
