You say that, but we just finished a campaign that took the characters all the way from 1st level to 20th level and I've seen it in actual play. Getting to make 10+ attacks on every turn was the standard modus operandi for our fighter, for over a year.

And here's today's graph. Looks like all of this talk about Wizards of the Coast didn't really have an impact on the popularity of the Baldur's Village mod.

Maybe a little? Here's the current download graph from the Nexus Mod page (on the second image, I moused over the graph to display the numbers for today). Page views and downloads are up slightly today, but they both peaked on March 10th.

As of right now, the "Baldur's Village" mod has been downloaded 43,476 times since it was first uploaded on March 8th, and it has already been translated into Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, German, and Turkish. The SDV modding community is top-tier.

It's like living next to train tracks: you learn to tune the noise out, and eventually, you stop hearing it altogether.

Oh I'm not surprised; some people here want WotC's head on a spike no matter what happens, or what's done about it. (shrug)
