The thing that gets me about " I want to turn 5e into WFRP" or whatever isn't that it can't be done.
It's just why?
Just go play WFRP it's waayyyy less work on your part to just read that and use that thing made to do the grimdark thing.
I think the real trick is to just get a motorcycle, you can lane split and in the bay area you can basically ride all year long as opposed to here, where you can ride for like six months out of the year.
I was once stuck on the 101 North for three hours in the bay area.
I went 8 miles.
I then swore to never complain about Chicago traffic again.
You know, until I inevitably get shot in it.
Joke Answer: Your skill percentages in Rifts start low and remain so low throughout leveling that they may as well not exist anyway.

I'm pretty sure you can't use the parts of the OGL you like to serve your own purposes to create derivative content from and then say literally all the non traditionally understood product identity aspects (items, feats...
Yeah, not really sure what the thinking here is. I can see OBS getting bullied by a company the size of Hasbro, sure. But to extend that same option to any old hobby publisher?
Come on man, I paid for these titles. Get your hands out of my pocket.

I get old WotC removing PDFs from sale because they thought it would stop piracy or whatever (lol). But to remove them from my library after I paid for them was and is garbage. They are mine. I should have been able to redownload them into perpetuity. The icing on...
It looks like Palladium's business ops (or at least the public facing side of it) is being run by new people now. Though, Kevin is still there near as I can tell.
As someone who had the good fortune of not backing the Robotech Tactics Kickstarter I am backing this. Purely because I have warm...
Pretty much the same for me.
If we're talking about as a playable game there really isn't much of a reason to not play 2e. It's really just a cleaned up and slightly streamlined 1e. It's pretty much superior in all gameable aspects aside from the art and content being sanitized because of...
In addition to just being D&D with spreadsheets the man behind ACKS is, you know, somebody I don't wanna give any money to, just a general FYI to anybody out there.
Color me pleasantly surprised. I'm also happy to hear that an official adventure has at least a portion of it as high level. It's just nice to see something.
But I'm glad the most important thing was mentioned in the review:
