My apologies for assuming you might have the wrong game based on your mention of pbta. I see little, if any, pbta influence as I have seen many elements of Black Star in other games predating pbta.

I don't remember Shakey's having curly fries. I do know they have mojo potatoes which was the best thing when I was last there prior to Covid.

I have never had limp fries at In-N-Out. Underseasoned might be due to concerns for people with high blood pressure, but they do give you salt. Even my last few visits to various McDonalds have had unsalted or low salted fries.

I think you are thinking of Black Stars Rise. Black Star from Lakeside Games is not pbta. It is a rules light(?) game designed for space opera and has been called a Star Wars knock-off by some. In Black Star, character abilities are Blasting, Brawling, Diplomacy, Discipline, Instinct...
