Good, cause I have to spread some around first anyway.

    Let's write some riddles!

Really? I think of logic puzzles as those that have a bunch of clues that you have to piece together to get the only logical answer. Like, you're told that five swords each go in five slots with certain sheaths and certain hilts, then you're told a bunch of clues like "The green sheath is...

    Let's write some riddles!

CleverNickName: That second one really is clever! I prefer logic puzzles that the players need to solve, but riddles are very fun too. When I think of any I'll post them (and I'll use this as a riddle resource)!
  5. Camelot

Let's do an experiment using bad boxed text.

You find yourself in a room. The room is not too large but not too small. There are no doors or windows. The walls, floor, and ceiling are all made out of bedrock. You realize you have been stripped of all your possessions. No matter how much you search, you cannot find anything else in this...

    Income Subsystem

Income_Subsystem Adventurers are sort of like freelancers. They don't have a steady income; they only get money when they get hired to do a one-time job, or if they find it lying around. Just like freelancers, adventurers (from a realistic perspective) would probably have a steady job for...

    Dwarf Rogue Tactic

Very interesting, it looks good! I'd add that when you use an unarmed attack, you get some bonuses (like the brawler fighter), just for balance reasons. Otherwise, cool concept! Now, of course, dwarves make just as good rogues with the option of Strength in Essentials...but maybe I shouldn't...

    The RPG Paradox

Yeah, I never understood the desire to play out an already written story. If you know how it's going to end, why bog it down with chance and game mechanics when you can watch the movie or read the book? I like the random aspect for starting a story with no idea where it's going to go, and...

    Battle Royale: The Game

Battle Royale: Items 1 Baseball Bat - 1 Hand 2 MELEE POWER ATTACK: You can use this item in two hands instead of one. If you do, its offense increases by 1. Bastard Sword - 2 Hands 4 MELEE Binoculars - Neck FAR SIGHT: You always see melee sneak attacks coming. Broken Bottle - 1 Hand 1...

    Battle Royale: The Game

Battle Royal: General Rules Before the Game The supervisor records the names of each player, then takes a number of item cards equal to the number of players and assigns one card to each player (this can be done randomly if the supervisor wants to be fair, but following the tradition of the...

    Battle Royale: The Game

I recently watched the movie Battle Royale, and a friend of mine has read the book it was based on. If you don't know, it consists of a class of high schoolers sent to an island and told that they have to kill each other; only one can get out alive. The catch is that they're each given a bag of...

    Gamma World Omega Tech Question

According to the rules: "Each Omega Card Works Once Per Encounter: You can use each readied Omega Tech Card once per encounter. When you use a card, tap it (turn it sideways). Even after a card is tapped, you still retain any benefit you gain from the card until the end of the encounter."...

    Gamma World Omega Tech Question

Plasma Deflector The property says "You gain resist 10 electricity and resist 10 fire." But then the power says "Effect: You gain resist 10 electricity and resist 10 fire until the end of the encounter..." Technically, this wouldn't stack with the property and is completely redundant. Does...

    Gamma World question

I agree with Bloody and Riga; normal damage. An aura is not a blast or burst attack, but a constant presence. It's also neither a melee or ranged attack. RAW, it makes most sense to not change the damage. You of course may change this if it breaks your suspension of disbelief.

    Invigorating!

Temporary hit points never stack, even if they're from different sources. The battlerager is an exception to this rule; when they hit with an invigorating attack, they gain temp HP equal to twice their Con mod (instead of just their Con mod like a normal character using an Invigorating attack...
