D&D 5E (2014) Quests from the Infinite Staircase TOC and Zargon.

Don't know about "confirmed" - I imagine there's at least a chance lillends could be saved for a hypothetical upcoming "Manual of the Planes"-style book - but it certainly seems likely that we'll be seeing them properly in the near(-ish) future. Though given their canonical ties to the Infinite...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

Actually, looks like it just dropped. https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/1756-2024-warlock-vs-2014-warlock-whats-new

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: "New Wizard"

I think the idea of conjuring up illusory creatures that are nonetheless still dangerous is quite thematic, actually. Reminds me of a certain witch from a visual novel I adore. Runs away before Beatrice the Golden can drag him back to Rokkenjima

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: "New Wizard"

Looks at '14 illusionist Hmm, fair enough... Obviously hadn't paid too much attention to the existing illusionist subclass. Regardless, they definitely managed to sell me on maybe giving one a try. Adds to mountain of unplayed character concepts I'm shocked. Shocked, I say.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: "New Wizard"

Not going to lie, the new illusionist is making me feel like you could get up to some real Looney Toons shenanigans... Create the illusion of a door in a wall. Walk through the door and close it behind you. Pursuers try to burst through the door and slam face first into the wall instead.

Already on subclasses. Yep, this one's going to be short, unless they start really going in depth on spell changes.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: "New Wizard"

I think a broader array of more general, non-specialized wizard subclasses would be helpful, but honestly, I do like having the classic specialist subclasses as well.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: Shape of "New Druid"

Similar and definitely more in-theme for Athas, but chocobos are pretty clearly birds rather than dinosaurs - they have proper wings, even if they're (usually) flightless.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: Shape of "New Druid"

Final Fantasy steals from D&D, D&D steals from Final Fantasy - the circle of life continues. Goes back to polishing his gunblade in preparation for Dawntrail.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

Then let me rephrase: The defining aspect of the cleric is their faith - they believe in their deity's religion's teachings and through their faith they are granted power to help advance their deity's religion's cause in the world.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

Obviously, your milage may vary, but my views on it go like this: The defining aspect of the cleric is their faith - they believe in their deity's religion's teachings and through their faith they are granted power to help advance their deity's religion's cause in the world. A celestial...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

Supposedly should be coming out later this week - WotC's community manager said as much over on Reddit, I believe.

D&D 5E (2014) What comes after the 2025 Monster Manual?

I would love an Iggwilv's Demonomicon to give a deep dive on demons and the Abyss. Maybe an Elminster's Guide to the Nine Hells to parallel it? They could justify it by saying that Nergal kidnapped him again... I do realize I've just essentially reinvented 3.5e's Fiendish Codices, but hey, I...

D&D 5E (2024) Which Setting Featured Already in 5E Do You Want a New Supplement For?

"Half-giants" (which would now implicitly be rolled into goliaths) are more of a Sarlona thing than Xen'drik, but I'd be all for either one, to be honest.

D&D 5E (2024) Which Setting Featured Already in 5E Do You Want a New Supplement For?

Never been much of a Forgotten Realms fan, but I imagine that it would be a pretty good time for a proper FR setting guide. Particularly one that goes beyond the Sword Coast, since one of the only things we've been told is on the docket for next year is a Red Wizards of Thay adventure. I would...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

Based on what the Playtest UA7 has to say on Ritual Casting, I'm not sure how necessary the Ritual Caster feat is anymore, especially for actual caster classes. The baseline rules for Ritual Casting now say you can cast any ritual spell you have prepared at any time without burning a spell slot...
