I have enough D&D stuff to ride out the rest of my life. But I'll probably not get to most of it because of all the other games I want to play. It just wouldn't make much of a difference in my personal life.

As someone how has an intense pet peeve of people pointing anywhere near my face, especially while driving, I sympathize. I would have bitten a lot of fingers over the decades, but you don't know where those things have been...or worse, you do.

Sure I do. I'm not deterred from new games, just the negative Nellies yucking on my yum. Playing a new game is not a religious conversion and I'd prefer not to play with people who treat it as such.
