I sometimes use the ignore list when I really, really, really, really can't put up with the way someone is being about something in a thread that I want to be in. And then every so often I go through the list and if I can't remember why they're there I take them off. I'm guessing the longer...

And it feels appropriate and prudent to me that an IP owner republishing things they have issues with parts of should point that out up front (like you say here and they did).
