    X-Men 3 teaser due soon.

Not yet - I'll try to sneak a peek later. If so, that would be very good signs that they may be understanding the pathos of Dark Pheonix....

And you thought it best to make a whole new thread about the X3 teaser?

Stay Through The End of The Credits

If anyone can search, they can link to one of the other threads on this subject. It would add to the "End of movie credits scenes" database...

I just wanna quote this, cause it's such a good read. Agree with ya' unequivocably, barsoom. :beerchug:

Pirates 2: Dead Man's Chest Trailer!

Well, according to the screenwriters on the Black PEarl commentary, Bootstrap Bill is a puddle of goo on the ocean floor (due to the incredible pressures at ocean depths) - so I don't see how he comes back.... but it shouldn't be hard to write him in somehow.

This weekend at the Box Office: 2005.12.05

From the review (AICN), Aeon Flux doesn't sound NEARLY as brainless as is being made out by "critics". Hard sci-fi concepts are seldom digested by the public very well - there should be no surprise it's getting drubbed.

    X-Men 3 teaser due soon.

I don't see how they can do the Pheonix Saga in the space of one movie. There are certain story-beats that HAVE to be included: Things like I just don't see how any version of that saga that WORKS can fit into only one movie. If they were smart, they would have X3's main story be something...

9 minute "supertrailer" for Chronicles of Narnia (Now with direct download links)

That is an AMAZING trailer. And as for comments about Narnia being a "kiddie film", I'll let this review say my likely stance: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=21958

    What, no Aeon Flux buzz?

That totally sounds like a comment I REGULARLY say about EVERY movie: "This would have been better with Kari Wuhrer in it."

The Leading Ladies Showdown Round 2

Ya, I (apparently thankfully) missed those other polls. I think polls are useless without some guidelines and focus. Popularity (amongst such a niche demographic as this) means little. Many of these entries are absurd. Have fun, though. These are just my opinions on the subject.

The Leading Ladies Showdown Round 2

Are there ANY recommendations, or guidelines to this? Or is it simply "Whoever you like, vote for them" (even if they are a bit character)

    Books from "The Onion"

I have Our Dumb Century, but have never been able to get into it like the website articles. The style of humor is quite different between the two. Our Dumb Century is such a slave to history, I think it dulls the parody edge and freedom of content they have on the website. I want to pick up...

look what I found - the Draft results from the season before last. Interesting to see the vast similarities, and the differences... rename the file to .htm Wow - I had 4 playable guys that year (IMO). Now I started with 11 easily (IMO).

So how does this Draft work? It's set to ready, I see, but the auto-draft didn't happen. Does it take awhile for Yahoo's server to "come around" to our league, or something?

whoof!! That was a CLOSE one. I was looking for info as to when the draft would happen, and was shocked to check into the thread today and see that the draft was going to be in 3 hours! Thanks for giving us a bit more time/warning to prepare the draft. I was hoping I'd get a better draft than...

From the sound of things, I'd definately vote for a 12 team league. I like the idea of being able to find someone that's worth a damn when I need to go to the Waiver/Free Agent wire. I remember dreading haveing to decide between Scrub A and Scrub B when something went wrong with my team...
