    Hideous Blow and Cleave

If a warlock with the cleave feat drops an opponent, does the extra eldritch blast damage apply to the cleave attack?

Expertise, "Fighting Defensively", Tumble, AND YOU!

I figured so much. I appreciate your reply. As to a house rule, I like a 4 pt expertise penalty counting as "fighting defensively.

Expertise, "Fighting Defensively", Tumble, AND YOU!

Does using the Combat Expertise feat quantify "Fighting Defensively", thus granting the extra bonus to AC for having so many ranks in tumble? Or, can you "Fight defensively" while using expertise"? I've never been sure on this one.

My illustration for your stat block

You read it: One chibi-gaia-avatar (with obligatory insertion of google-image-searched items and whatnot) for your statistics block. Pleeez?

    Sewer monsters?

Plotting for our game tonight, What would be a good encounter table for slogging through sewers? The party is at 2nd level.

    DungeonPunk: Musical Inspiration

Off of the top of my head, the song "Otherworld" from Final Fantasy X comes to mind. Some form of bread-and-circuses-opiate-of-the-masses arena sport comes to mind, be it something gladiatorial or not.

    Eldritch Recovery

A warblade can recover his maneuvers after making an [full] ATTACK. Plus, one must have at least 4 or 5 levels in Warlock to have a lesser invocation - so you won't be swinging with the big painful maneuvers, at least not until higher levels. Perhaps there could be some limit to the level of...

My first chance at playing a warblade

Given that a Warblade recovers his manuevers with an attack action, I always found battleaxing my way in with the big ones and finding a full attack, rinse-repeat, to be extremely satisfying. That said, what manuevers did you pick?

    Eldritch Recovery

Warlock x Nine Swords. The concept behind the feat here is that doing warlocky things recovers your maneuvers. Eldritch Recovery Whenever you tap your fell energies, you find reattachment to your mastery of the Sublime Way. Prerequisites: At least 2 martial maneuvers, Ability to use lesser...

    Plans to upgrade/switch?

I've been playing "3.25". Essentially, I've picked and chosen the best bits of 3.0 and 3.5. I'm not spending a wooden nickel on D&D 4, but anything that seems grabable and pulling back into "3.25" is only going to make my game better.

    Chronomancer update?

Complete Psionic has the Zerth Cenobite prestige class, but it's aimed at monks and not spellcasters. A certain issue of dragon (325, I thinks) has chronomancy in it.

Going beyond humans in funny clothes?

One dynamic this conversation brings to mind: Consider a race with more than two genders - as in one that requires three, four, or even more individuals to procreate? Discuss the implications. "Alien, indeed, this monogamy of yours!"

    Memory Tungsten

I figured as much. That said, counterspelling does suck in d&d. So, perhaps it's another thread, but, Nifft, how would you go about fixing it?

    Memory Tungsten

To be honest: My setting is called "Reality". It's the real world in a four-colored expression that's slightly more fantastic. Fluff is fluff, rules are rules - I'm more concerned if this item is mechanically sound.
