    Now that's a fig!!!

It can be a bad thing to do if they start losing customers. GW lost my money since there last price rise. Still you charge more and you can afford to have less customers. Not that GW seems to be having problems.

    Least Belivable aspect of D&D?

I can't believe Hit Points was missed of that list.

Is this DM bs or is it not?

The harpies should have killed the barbarian and left his items for the rest of the party. If I was the babarian I'ld be annoyed with the DM going soft like that. Nothing worse than a DM that's afraid to kill the odd player.

Now Armor=DR not AC bonus! READ THIS!!!

Ah that's a very important difference. Since the majority of the time you will be doing vitality point damage in Star Wars. As you only do Wound damage on a critical or if all Vitality is gone. Also makes sense since when you take Vitality damage it is not ment to represent you actually being...

    Two feats inspired by LOtR

But at that sort of level the archer could have a magic quiver that produces endless arrows. Heck he could have a bow that fired flame arrows or something equally nasty.

    Fun with Flintlocks

Yeah one of my problems with all the attempts to add firearms to D&D is that they make it an Exotic Weapon. IMHO they should be Simple weapons with a Feat that lets you reduce the loading time to say a single full round action.

The thing you did NOT like about the PHB Ranger

I voted other. This is because I think the Ranger gets too many of its abilities at first level then doesn't get much of a bonus in later levels. If your going to give the Ranger those virtual feats it would have been better to spread them over the first few levels. At the moment the ranger...

    Two feats inspired by LOtR

Personally I'm not happy with a feat that breaks one of the main rules in 3E that you only get one attack unless you do a Full Attack Action. Although I suppose this could be seen as Shuriken, ie. you are making one attack, but two attack rolls. IE: Sneak attack, Ranger damage bonus, etc...

    Two feats inspired by LOtR

As written in the first post Twin Shot would require a Full Attack action since you make more than one attack. If you want to make more than one attack then you have to take a Full Attack action. The feat doesn't have anything special rule written into it about it being a normal attack action...

How much would you pay to see The Two Towers?

Next available moment is likely to be Xmas next year, in which case I'll probably pay the going cinema rate, hmmm no I'd go on a Thursday night when its cheap rate. So about £2.80 or so. Unfortunately your poll doesn't go that low.

Things you did NOT like about Fellowship of the Ring.

The pace of the Followship of the Ring was way to slow. I mean its something like 15 years between Bilbo leaving the Shire and Frodo having to leave with the ring. Sure it implies a slow building evil growing in strength but really it adds nothing to the book and makes you lose interest in the...

[Poll] Weapon style used by your Fighters ?

My character is a Fighter/Wizard so a reach weapon is very useful since you always want to keep one step away so you can cast spells without worrying about AoO. Plus with Combat Reflexs you don't need to worry as much about winning initiative as you will get an AoO when they close.

    Fun with Flintlocks

Only problem I see is a 1st level fighter with Weapon Focus [ Composite Long Bow] and Rapid Shot can do. Two shots each doing 1d8+3 every round. Assuming he has access to a mighty composite longbow. Where as even equipped with the best musket he can only do 2d10 once every 4 rounds. So lets...

    What's Scarred Lands like?

Has Nightfall appeared on this new board yet? He normally fields the Scarred Lands questions. While we are on the topic one question has always bugged me about Scarred Lands. That is In the war between the Gods and the Titans what prompted the evil and good Gods to ally? Were all the Titans...

    What's Scarred Lands like?

Well you should check out the Scarred Lands website for some background reading http://www.swordsorcery.com/. The setting knows when to pinch good ideas from other settings yet has a lot of originality about it too. 150 years ago there was a battle between the new young gods and the old gods...

    Fun with Flintlocks

The British army use to manage around 3 rounds a minute with the front loading muskets they used in the Penisula War. Thats one shot every 20 seconds. So in reality it takes 2 rounds to load another to fire (going on about 6 second rounds, D&D is 6 second rounds now isn't it?) but then the...
