Pathfinder & GURPS Dungeon Fantasy

Seeing the growing numbers of gamers around here who enjoy their fantasy campaigns (Eberron, Warhammer, Conan, Midnight) much more since their GMs decided to convert them to GURPS, this kind of effort doesn't seem all that pointless to me... ;)

QFT GURPS Dungeon Fantasy is a *great* (and cheap) line - I've used GURPS4e before for most of my games, but with Dungeon Fantasy it might soon replace D&D3.5 completely (especially since D&D4e is not really liked around here)

GURPS4e is way better than GURPS3e ever was - and with the GURPS Dungeon Fantasy series it's now my system of choice even for D&D-style gaming (though Pathfinder also looks nice)

With *one* exception all players in my regular gaming circles (more than 40 gamers, ages 17-45, male/female ratio about 4:3, almost all with college or university education levels) see no reason to - buy the new books - play D&D4e ...mostly because they simply really do not like what they are...

no problem - remember that ST is irrelevant for skills, defense, rolls to stay conscious/alive/etc. BTW you might want to visit the SJG forums for lots of additional discussion of the DF series, including a collective setting ;)
