Against the Shadows VII - A Faded Glory Story Hour (Re-Updated - 5/17)

Hey, you've got the wife. That's three right there. (DL, am I supposed to be THE expert on ambiguous jokes?)

JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

You know, I'd have to agree with this one (though I haven't read the module). I gave a series of rousing speeches during one session, one after the other. Not to toot my own horn, but I was in the zone. The other players were paying rapt attention (yes, even that guy who always interupts...

The Gates of Hell have opened!

If nothing else, I look forward to reading him. It should provide some insight for me. I'm always looking for schemes my favorite Duke can be working on. And he always has something going, whether I know it or not. ;)

    In Hextor's Name (Completed 22 Oct 2004)

All three of these sound related. . . I look forward to the first two most though. When Kull says hi to Hextor, what does Hextor say back?

    Elminster Novels

Which book was that? I don't seem to recall a long battle. Unless you're refering to Prince of Lies, I guess. The City of the Dead battle was rather long. But it was broken up well. Really, I won't say that I thought the Avatar series was excellent. Just good. I especially enjoyed Prince of...

    I'm new!

Let me second the Story Hours. I'm a little biased, seeing as I live there, but I think they're one of the best features of the boards. Great for campaign ideas, character ideas, or just plain fantasy enjoyment. Highly recomended.

    Hmmm, is Titivilous in there?

    Elminster Novels

(Hmmm, that's odd. It didn't subscribe me to my own thread. . .) Thanks GSHamster. I really appreciate it. And I loved the Shadow of the Avatar series, which is what drew me to poking into him.

    And I'll be the second.

    Elminster Novels

I'm looking to start reading Elminster novels. Can anyone give me a good place to start? I've noticed that a lot don't seem to be in print anymore (I prefer not to buy used). (Crap, I got class. Gotta go!)

Hmmmm, he makes an excellent point. I take back all my statements regarding your progney. Procreate away!

Baldur's Gate 3 and Neverwinter Nights 2 all-but-confirmed by Atari!

I find myself with Dark Jezter on this one (nicely laid out by the way). BG's story was epic and engaging. It drew you in, gave you options for almost evey character (including most NPCs), and was filled with surprises. I find that I don't care if they use the BG name. If it's a good game...

Check your doors tonight SH fans. Seems there's a rampaging cleric about with a really big d20. . .

Yeah that can be hard on a DM. A hard chair, a hard table, a hard floor. . .

Against the Shadows VII - A Faded Glory Story Hour (Re-Updated - 5/17)

Hmmmm, well I had a similar thing happen several years back, though I can't remember it. Could be that he went a touch farther and brainwashed me. Especially since I haven't left since. Uh, oh. Perhaps I should just sneak out quietly. . . [Sound of snapping fingers] "Old One is good, Old...

JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

I'm more worried about the time his bride is spending on him. I mean, do we really want those genes spreading? (Yes, I did say that.)

The Mésalliance. Part 2. (Updated 11/28)

Or, depending on your point of view, Oronthon's faith may be monotheistic, meaning His worshipers believe He's the only one, but there could also be other gods who His faith doesn't believe in. We've mostly been working from Edric's point of view regarding Oronthon but Nym, Motsin, and, more...

JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

The psychiatry rotation kinda scares me. Do we really want that man to have much more knowlege of how to mess with a guy's head? Or--and I'm not sure if this is better or worse--what if they fix him?

The Mésalliance. Part 2. (Updated 11/28)

That assumes, of course, that Oronthon is the most powerful force in the cosmos.
