    Repose Domain

Hmmmmmmmmm, did your DM rule it a crit, go for a confirmation, and roll double the dice? I would have.

    How to play a druid?

Without double checking my book, I thought those were Transmutation.

    How to play a druid?

Hmmmmm, dwarven druid swearing off metal. No wonder it's an uncommon class for them. Really though, it seems to me that a druid should have just as much opportunity to work with mineral as animal. For one, it's part of the natural order and, two, no one else can really do it.

    Repose Domain

Well, holy crap, yeah. That would be tremendiously over powered. I can see why you'd be concerned about it.

If a DM says, "Anything goes in my campaign" (Pure RAW) What is your initial opinion?

I went with Way Cool, as that seemed to be the only possitive option. I run my game this way, for the most part, and don't have problems. Generally I own every book the players want to use anyway and I know them better than they do. Which, incidentally means I can toss slightly broken things...

What happens when a disjunction hits a blessed book?

I'd avoid that to prevent an assult on my person, even if all the other options were disproven. Besides, it seems like it would be more interesting to have the book be suddenly massive and weighing the Wizard down. Low strength? You'll wish you had a carrying capacity when I'm done with you. ;)

You'd be able to take the same person out with a Flamestrike. But if you don't do enough damage on the Death/Repose domain you do nothing. With the Flamestrike you at least make them weaker, even if you allow a save.

The Ambergate Chronicles - Galahorn or the Curious Adventure of the Glass Coffin

Thanks KidC. And Eris, I happen to be a Digital Audio Restoration Artist (I take crap out of files--I do records too) so that kind of industry slang was drilled into my head. I figured I'd just toss it out as a P.S. I did think it was brilliantly use to describe the mood of the place. We've...

The Ambergate Chronicles - Galahorn or the Curious Adventure of the Glass Coffin

Now that's a cool backstory. Hmmmmm, I'm always looking for ways to get the good guys to fight each other. It forces the party to really think. I love that. Was it played out in an earlier campaign KidC? And Eris, I'll say it agian, I love the more personal moments. It flows so well and...

The Ambergate Chronicles - Galahorn or the Curious Adventure of the Glass Coffin

I really enjoy these more personal moments with George and Dante. More than the quests themselves actually.

JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

I've been around since the original story hour--hail Joachim!--and I couldn't agree more. This is one of those events that I both loath and yern for. Gfunk, JollyDoc, Joachim, before the end, I bow to your achievements and thank you for sharing them with us.

JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

*Moan* I used to love Mutant X. Now I want to read this story hour. A lot. Dang, I gotta remember to ask my mother what happened to my comic books. I think I saw some of them at my old house a couple days ago. . .

Nope. That one's in house only. Not that there hasn't been plenty of begging otherwise.

Hey, Gfunk, care to try making a monster called The Great Yadda Yadda Yadda? That sounds like fun.

JollyDoc's Shackled City: FINAL POST [Updated 11/2!!]

It made for good story anyway. And Adimarchus is a scary, scary, dude. How was any party expected to beat him?

I'm not sure that was worth a section of the mine. Kill him and be done with it. Grrrrr.
