D&D 5E (2014) VGTM races with a Natural Unarmed attack

Well no one described their head as a "pawn", so I don't know where you're going with this. (inb4 he claims jaelis' metaphor was about headbutting rather than about how simple games cannot accurately model reality and that this is not a bad thing) Also, I fail to see how a kick can be...

    D&D 5E (2014) Know what spell I hate?

I positively love your Enhanced Scroll Casting feature. I would be a little afraid to play this class though because I would call it "fragile" design in that it depends on your DM handing you scrolls. That said, its probably fine, because if your DM is denying you access to things really...

D&D 5E (2014) VGTM races with a Natural Unarmed attack

I love how you just dove head first into a rant containing nothing resembling a contribution to the topic at hand. Protip: Before telling us about how smart you are in comparison to others, learn how to operate spell check, so we can "comprend" what you're saying. In any case, since the meaning...

    D&D 5E (2014) Planar Binding

... HOW DID NONE OF US THINK OF THAT! Once again, Hemlock is super clever. Let's just weaken them before casting pokeball on them. (inb4 Shin Megami Tensei comment)

    D&D 5E (2014) Planar Binding

MechaTarrasque I had considered this, but do you really think the target is gonna fail its save to shrug off Hold Monster every round for the spell's entire duration? As you said, Hold Monster is a 5th level spell, so even a warlock, being able to spend all their slots as 5th level, only gets 2...

    D&D 5E (2014) Planar Binding

I'm pretty sure Hemlock is right. In the event your DM is unreasonable, however, you can still consider multiclassing into sorcerer and applying Extended Spell.

    D&D 5E (2014) Planar Binding

Wow, in that case PB is just terrible. If happening across a target was the only restriction it could be good but unreliable, but you have to stumble across a target AND find a way to get them to sit still for an hour? Magic circle wouldn't even help because you'd still need to hold them in a...

    D&D 5E (2014) About Ability Scores...

@Hriston Ah, another good one, and another point in favor of strength. I almost regret making it the dump stat of every char I ever make. @AaronOfBarbaria True, 110% true, but I'm not sure how I feel about saying odd scores are good because you can use an ASI to get rid of them easier.

    D&D 5E (2014) About Ability Scores...

@Laniliss Bonus points for our first answer. To clarify the topic is about odd vs. even scores in general, not specifically 13 vs. 12, that was just my example because multiclassing runs exclusively off 13's.

    D&D 5E (2014) About Ability Scores...

After reading some discussion about the perks of being a non-variant human I was curious: how often is an odd ability score more useful than if the score were one lower? Let's see how many we can name. 13 in an ability score is better than 12 because multiclass requirements I believe at...

D&D 5E (2014) DM is in a Good Mood but I need help fast! The UA Revised Ranger but how to make it spell-less

This may not be the answer you're looking for, but I think maybe you should be leave well enough alone. If you had some specific homebrew idea that you were really attached to that would be one thing, but I think your DM will give more consideration to your requests in the future if you don't...
