I can actually compensate for that in conversion. What I like about 4e is that they had pretty interesting combats and monsters had interesting powers. Whenever I have converted them to 5e they have worked well.

True, but I was thinking even more vertical city. For example a sheer mountain with buildings and scaffolding/stairs on the side making trips up and down dangerous. Or a pit that plummets into the earth a mile or two and the inside of the pit has been turned into living spaces.

I just played this with my kids - 7 and 5 year old with my wife playing two characters to pickup the slack. They loved it. But where to next? I am thinking of getting a 1e adventure and converting it to these 4e light rules and starting a regualer game with them. Anyone done this?
