    WotBS Errata for WotBS #1

A few other things that I have spotted while reading WotBS #1: On Page 3, the alley on the right side of the Poison Apple Pub is described as “the alley is blocked at the end by refuse and broken furniture”. However the maps on Page 5 and 39 do not show this large pile of refuse blocking this...

    WotBS Errata for WotBS #1

Does this mean that the pdf file that I bought will be updated with these changes, and that I can download an updated version at that time? Will I be notified via e-mail (in a similar manner when the file was first made available) when this update occurs, or should I continue to check this...

I just got an e-mail from the DriveThruRpg website about it being available for download. Too bad, I'm at work, where this site is blocked...

    Map Creator?

I agree about MapTools. I use it heavily during my game play now. You might also want to check out a mapper that Wizards has made available. Dungeon Tile Mapper -- v1.2.0 This mapper allows you to make maps using "official" tiles from several of their tilesets.

D&D 4E 4e Character Sheet, fully editable and auto populating

Your enworld link gives a "file not found" error. Most likely because of the Enworld 2 re-organization. Can you please provide a valid link to this file via enworld? Thanks!

    Order of the Stick, 524

Rich has the same sick sense of humor as me. to reference a mid 80's movie called "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo". I have always added "Electric Boogaloo" to any action which are attempted at the gaming table which are stupid or have little chance of succeeding, such as "Attack the Balor 2...

    Best endings

For this thread, you can't forget "The Planet of the Apes", both the original movie and for an even better "twist", the book by Pierre Boule.

What's the most amazing start to a new campaign you've ever done?

The most interesting start to a campaign for me was several years ago, in D&D 2.0 edition days. I was part of a weekly gaming group that would play various types of games, including roleplaying and various board wargames. After a few weeks of "discussion", we were split 50/50 on either playing...

    Tricked Out Warmage Build?

Plus, the warmage would have to be level 6 before qualifying for the Rainbow Servant PrC. They must be able to cast 3rd level arcane spells, and warmages do not get their 3rd level spells until they are 6th level. I have a LG warmage character myself, and I just kept his levels of warmage...

    Gaming in Phoenix, AZ

I have been in the Phoenix since 1964 (other than attending college at USC in L.A.). Gaming is quite active in the local area. I know of 3 local gaming-only conventions spread through the year (DarkCon in January, Phoenix Con Games in July, and Hexacon in October). In addition, several sci-fi...

    Problem with DM Buddy

The problem is that that particular character has levels of a prestige class. The spreadsheet is not able to locate the save data for that prestige class (arcane archer, in this case). If I remove the levels of arcane archer, the cells calculate just fine. If I select any level of prestige...

    traps with DM Genie

First of all, I might recommend asking such DM Genie usage questions on its website (www.dmgenie.com). The forum there is quite active and useful for answering such questions. Regarding your question, the easiest way to award XP for a trap is to create an opponent via the "New Creature" option...
