So, for futute reference, setting the price of magic items at the midpoint of the range in the DMG gives a value that is quite similar to the table here: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?424243-Sane-Magic-Item-Prices

I checked what I picked. and using your price table the total is 21000. Some things were more, some were less. That's close enough for me. I'm willing to leave it alone.
