    Keep On The Borderline

Mike Mearls! Laughed so much. I agree with him. I read it and never used it. As a 15 year old I could tell it didn't make any sense. The Luke Crane link doesn't work.

    Foundation Series (Apple+)

It matters. I prefer things to be more mysterious. We get "linear easy watching" narratives all the time. It's good to have some change once in a while. I find its a fitting way of telling the story for Fondation. Goddard said "A movie has a beginning, an middle and an end. But not necessarily...

    Foundation Series (Apple+)

The Witcher series was 'disjointed'. The flashbacks were difficult to understand (when they actually happened in the grand scheme of things) and muddled the narrative. Very amateur editing. I'm not seeing that in Fondation. Granted it's a slow reveal but all the blocks are falling into place...

Describe your last rpg session in 5 words

Too much non rpg talk.... (I don't know why but the last two sessions we kept talking about other stuff than playing the game. I allow it so must be me fault! :-D )

    For All Mankind (Apple+)

Series have bibles on how they should unfold over time. Moore didn't write all the episodes. Judging from the overall quality I'm sure the quality will be the same.

    Foundation Series (Apple+)

It's called a non-linear narrative. Only time will tell if they pulled it off or not. But so far looks like they did.

Finished season 2 last night. The last two episodes were excellent. Really tense and emotional. Lots of loose ends for season 3.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Iron Kingdoms, Holler, Mutated Monsters, and more

Iron Kingdoms 5e. Interesting. Didn't Iron Kingdoms start as a d20 OGL game?

RPG Print News – Goodman, Legendary, CMON, Son of Oak, and More

Nothing speaks to me this week. The SG-1 cover is a turn off for me. In other news The Modern AGE Mastery Guide by Green Ronin just went up for pre-order. It's a book I'm really looking forward to. Offers alternate ways to play. One of them is diceless which is very intriguing since AGE uses...

D&D General SPOILERS: Peterson's Game Wizards

The fact the Dave Arneson needed David Ritchie to type up his notes and detailed the DA Blackmoor series of modules (DA1-4) is very telling. (Sadly, Ritchie died in 2009, age 58).

    Keep On The Borderline

Owned it with the Moldvay Basic starter set. Read parts of it, grew bored and never DMed it. Even today I wouldn't DM it. I like the concept of the module but not the execution. I prefer The Secret of Bone Hill.

How do you pronounce 'EN World'?

    E. N. World. As it should be. I tried saying it as one word the first time and decided that couldn't it.

Beard After Hours was really weird. Nate! the Spitting the Cobra! Is the hair a metaphor for shedding his old skin? 🙃

Impromptu Stream with Ed Greenwood, Tim Kask, & TSR CCO

For those who don't know, like me, who Chivington was: "Chivington gained infamy[1] for leading a 700-man force of Colorado Territory militia during the massacre at Sand Creek in November 1864. An estimated 70–163 peaceful Cheyenne and Arapaho – about two-thirds of whom were women, children, and...

    World building idea: Jupiter-sized Earth

With such a set up another sentient race could have evolved separately from Homo sapiens like in the novel West of Eden by Harry Harrison. Direct descendants of dinosaurs survived and evolved into a bipedal intelligent specie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_of_Eden
