The Witcher series was 'disjointed'. The flashbacks were difficult to understand (when they actually happened in the grand scheme of things) and muddled the narrative. Very amateur editing. I'm not seeing that in Fondation. Granted it's a slow reveal but all the blocks are falling into place...

Series have bibles on how they should unfold over time. Moore didn't write all the episodes. Judging from the overall quality I'm sure the quality will be the same.

It's called a non-linear narrative. Only time will tell if they pulled it off or not. But so far looks like they did.

Finished season 2 last night. The last two episodes were excellent. Really tense and emotional. Lots of loose ends for season 3.

The fact the Dave Arneson needed David Ritchie to type up his notes and detailed the DA Blackmoor series of modules (DA1-4) is very telling. (Sadly, Ritchie died in 2009, age 58).

Owned it with the Moldvay Basic starter set. Read parts of it, grew bored and never DMed it. Even today I wouldn't DM it. I like the concept of the module but not the execution. I prefer The Secret of Bone Hill.
