The proofreading stage is over - I have now incorporated all the suggestions I'm going to, which includes quite a lot of those made. Now it's time for the last edit of the text prior to finalising the layout in readiness for art. Things are moving - slowly, but not that slowly. :)
It looks like 2016 will finally be the year that the BLUEHOLME™ Compleat Rules make it out into the world. There is still some editing and layout going on, and then there will have to be an artwork crowdfunder, but hopefully Compleat can go live this year...
Well, I don't know what to say - but thanks, fans! Not the top spot, but pretty close on marks, BLUEHOLME™ Prentice Rules nabbed joint second place for the Indie Game of the year, 2014! :D

So far the only statement we have is that the rules will be identical to RQ6, with parts of the Adventures in Glorantha supplement built in. AiG was supposed to be the setting book for the setting-neutral RQ6 rules. It's early days yet and I'm sure no-one is exactly sure how that will work yet...

The writer is in the same boat, so you can be sure this has been taken into consideration! The revised PDF already has a larger, simpler font than the original, and it looks very clear in the printed book.
Seems to have gone fairly swimmingly, but I think it can be improved before general release. Also, I want to do both perfect bound and saddle stitched versions.

I am now waiting for my print proof copy of the BLUEHOLME™ Prentice Rules perfect bound edition to arrive in my letterbox. It might be a while, so be patient - even if all goes swimmingly, it takes a while for things to wing their way to me across the Pacific.

This is a Kickstarter for a multi-edition adventure.

I decided to back this based on the rather witty Kickstarter video, and received the preview PDF as a result. I'm happy to report it looks like just my kind of thing. It's a fine...
There is a centaur in the creatures chapter as well as a lot of Holmes's other favourite races, and there are rules for playing any race with any class. The reason there are no Japanese samurai nor African witch doctor or Amerindian medicine man classes is because those are too setting-specific...

Not counting the "pure" retro-clones that replicate old editions (BLUEHOME™, etc. ;)), my favourite would have to be LotFP. Not for the notorious "weirdness" but because it's a very neat system.
