    Dragons are kinda boring...

Ancalagon was the biggest of the dragons and the most powerful physically, but it was Glaurung, the Father of Dragons, who had the mental powers, and they were anything but minor.

    Grognard's First Take On 4e

I would compare it more with judging a movie based on the first 20 minutes of it. The "teaser trailer" would have been, in this case, the "Wizards Presents" books that previewed 4th edition.

I had a bad experience with a Chessex battle mat. I bought one and the pens that go along with it, and the ink did not come off the first time I used it. That was a waste of a lot of money. These days I much prefer the Flip-mats that Paizo (www.paizo.com) sells. I've bought several of them...

$30 will fill up my car completely with gasoline--and that's saying something with today's gas prices. $30 will feed me, my girlfriend, and her son for lunch at a good quality restaurant. $30 is what the average person in America makes at a job after working nearly a whole day. $30 is what I...

D&D 4E Notes from the 4E Corebooks: Alignment, Monsters, Artifacts and More

I seem to recall some beautiful color artwork in a little ol' book called the Monstrous Manual from 2nd edition D&D....

D&D 4E Notes from the 4E Corebooks: Alignment, Monsters, Artifacts and More

Let me put it this way. WotC made a big deal out of how the new edition was going to have a new art direction. Much fuss was made over this in the preview books and through the website recently with the daily art selections. To find out now that WotC is recycling old art from v3.5 seems to...

D&D 4E Notes from the 4E Corebooks: Alignment, Monsters, Artifacts and More

Perhaps...but it still seems odd for me. I can't remember a single piece of artwork being recycled from one edition of D&D to another before...barring the half edition change of 3.5, of course, which is not really a complete edition change.

    Character Art in KotS

Please explain and elaborate, especially how leaving out a core power that a character possesses has no bearing on the character.

D&D 4E Notes from the 4E Corebooks: Alignment, Monsters, Artifacts and More

What? Recycled from the v3.5 MM? This seems like a waste.
