D&D General Satanic Panic at the Disco- Did Beelzebubba Cause D&D's First Crash, Y'all?

I've made Pulling the butt of some jokes in the past, but as I've gotten older I started feeling more sympathy for her. To lose a child is difficult enough, but when it's suicide it can be especially difficult. Was there something I could have done? Was there something I missed? I can't help...

    WoD renaming, White Wolf returns

I actually haven't played any Palladium game since sometime before I graduated from high school. i.e. It's been more than thirty years. I do remember seeing ads for Mechanoids Space though.

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

I had intended to take pictures of the bear as it was a work in progress. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of step number three which was the ugly phase of the process. The ugly phase is the part of your paint job where it looks like you've ruined it, but you gotta just keep going and...

    WoD renaming, White Wolf returns

Now you guys are making me sad the very existence of Eden Studios is tenuous at best. They were really ahead of the curve with All Flesh Must Be Eaten.

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

A work in progress. The Abomimabear from Zombicide! That’s right, a zombie bear. Fur and hair is something I still have a difficult time with, thankfully this model has some texture in there making it a little easier. I started with a base coat of Vallejo Japanese Uniform which is some sort...

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

I don't really do any scale modeling myself, but I am very impressed with what's available on the market to get a more accurate model. Some of the companies, like Tamiya, produce some great models for what seems like a very reasonable price when compared to Games Workshop. But then what...

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

I looked at the first photo at thought, "Sure, 1:1 is a scale. I guess." Very cool. I used to work at a military museum and we had in our collection a buttload of models from someone's collection. On occasion we'd pull the appropriate model out and put that puppy on display. I keep hearing...

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

I've started to use my .2 mm airbrush for my regular sized models now. It's great for applying filters, shadows, or off source lighting effects. But you can do any of that with a regular brush if you're not impatient like I am.

    When disagreeing…

Current best practice is to be direct and to the point, but respectful, when speaking to an employee about a disciplinary issue. I think a lot of us would simply be better served by remembering we're mostly just sharing opinions.

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

While it won't ever completely supplant my brushes, the airbrush really speeds things up, especially for larger models. Though I've also started using one of my airbrushes for work on smaller miniatures. I've got plans for that myconid queen if I ever get my hands on it. Yours looks great by...

    WoD renaming, White Wolf returns

I agree. We've all got limited cash and time to invest in RPGs, so if you're invested heavily in Call of Cthulhu or D&D you're less likely to become heavily invested in a similar game that scratches that same itch. Maybe not you or anyone else who posts here, we're weirdos, but for most people...

    WoD renaming, White Wolf returns

That's really the root of the issue. What will sell? With a few exceptions, I don't think anyone knows what will sell let alone what might become the next runaway hit. Did anyone in 1991 think Vampire the Masquerade was making the way for a line of products that included 8+ games like Mage...
