    Action Points Accrual

The first way (i.e. 65 APs, and that's assuming that you had only accumulated levels in basic classes since advanced classes offer 6 APs/level and prestige classes offer 7 APs/level). KoOS

Huge printing error in my Eberron!

Given that he is describing almost word-for-word Mongoose Publishing's approach to the uproar over the editing issues in Conan, I think it's safe to assume that he's not being entirely serious. Of course, there's a key difference in that the problems with Eberron are a legitimate production...

Huge printing error in my Eberron!

Methinks you aren't offering a serious suggestion here, but rather taking a sly dig at another publisher... I like your style. KoOS

Who is the best D20 Modern writer?

I don't think there is any single "best" writer for the line, but I'd put forward these names: Stan! - The MPC was brilliant. 'Nuff said. Rich Redman - Cowrote the core book, has posted some great columns on the Wizards' site, and Martial Arts Mayhem is a great addition to the game for any...

    Questions about M&M?

It incorporates errata, and that's it. Errata in this case includes both corrections of errors (e.g. incorrect terminology, point values, numbers or formulae) and limited rewrites of certain powers that were unclear, ambiguous or broken. Nothing about the game is changed per se, certainly not...

    MEG's D20 Future setting

I really dig and am eagerly awaiting The Red Star, but it (the setting that is, I can't speak to the RPG) would be more accurately filed under Alternate History/Science-Fantasy rather than Hard SF. If you're interested in a strictly non-FX SF setting, The Red Star is not what you're looking...

Help me think of a system, please!

I don't know about TV shows, but Hong Kong Action Theatre! is an RPG in which the characters are actors in Hong Kong action movies. Is that perhaps what you were looking for? KoOS

    RPGA Approved Living d20 Modern???

Because Living Spycraft has a company (AEG) and a group of volunteers who are willing to put in the effort. If you were willing to put the same effort into, say, Living Haven that AEG has put into Living Spycraft, it might happen. Also, Spycraft has the advantage of a clearly defined genre...

    Dragon/WotC conspiracy article

The thing is, the idea that newbies might be fooled by the non-explicit nature of the Paizo-Wizards link is incompatible with the argument that people might think this because Dragon used to have non-D&D, non-TSR articles. If you're old enough to remember such articles in Dragon, you're too old...

How much more powerful are Spycraft's base classes than D20 Modern's?

I was hoping this might be the case but thought it might be presumptuous to ask. :D Great news! KoOS

How much more powerful are Spycraft's base classes than D20 Modern's?

Well, I'm not gloating about the end of SFA -- I can appreciate the craft and care that you all put into it and I think there's a lot of good things about it, but at the end of the day it just didn't mesh with my sensibilities enough to pull me in. You can't please everyone, I guess. I will...

How much more powerful are Spycraft's base classes than D20 Modern's?

I don't want to turn this thread into a screed of why I dislike SFA but suffice it to say, I'd view Spycraft more favourably if some of the non-espionage elements (which do look fantastic IMO) weren't bundled in umpteen supplements for a setting I really don't want. I think the Spycraft core is...

How much more powerful are Spycraft's base classes than D20 Modern's?

They have different objectives. PCs in Spycraft are assumed to be combat-trained by default and thus can do a lot of things that D20M characters have to select feats to even try (burst fire, suppressive fire, etc.) because D20M is more generic and includes untrained characters as the default...

    d20 Modern Pulp

Sword & Sorcery is publishing all three of the Trinity Universe corebooks (Adventure!, Aberrant and Trinity) in d20 form. The books are designed to work with the D&D3.5 PHB and are planned as standalones (i.e. no supplements are planned, although that might change if demand proves sufficient)...
