I don't really have a lot of advice to offer other than a suggestion, which is that you might just want to abstract the chase scene. Chase scenes just aren't really covered very well by the rules, in my opinion, and the more rules you try to use to adjudicate the scene, the worse it gets.

I might be misinterpreting your question here, but I think he means that he prefers flavorful traits over mechanical traits, and not that he's looking for traits to be MORE flavorful than they already are.

I, too, thought that the idea was to show that Rogues can't break the game, even when they try. Of course, in the context of the other thread, wouldn't it be better to give builds (for any class) that are unbelievably, extremely overpowered?
