Well with my limited experience I'm not sure it does have a huge departure in a way you might want it to. But the scenery and feel of a world to me is what sells a shared world. I know I can't expect a single-player game experience online.

I enjoyed it, good drama, elements of a mystery, an action show and a serial story. I do regret the counterprogramming to Heroes though, so i may have to Tivo this until that series is done for the season.

Has anyone else had issues with strong lag in towns? I have two PCs and I play it on both but they both show problems with severe lag - even at medium settings. It reminds me in many ways of Matrix online when it first launched - it was hardly playable because of visual lag.
