    eDragon: Starlock feats and powers

Yeesh! There is some really powerful stuff in that article. A free save EVERY time you hit (and damage, should you meet a radiant resistant foe, I suppose) with your Starlock's At-Will power AND when the target takes the secondary damage? And, by the wording, it can be any effect, even the ones...

    Errata print-n-cut sheets

Nice! These are just what I needed. Thanks for making these!

    Comparisions between classes

The Fighter's Mark lets you attack them if they don't attack you, and you also attack them if they try to shift too. You can also mark a LOT of enemies if you have access to some kind of area or close attack (Dragon Breath...). The Paladin's Mark is automatic damage, but you cannot use it on...

    Excerpt: Warlock (Dark Pact)

Dark Mirror has some pretty nice flavor, but it just seems... pathetic for a 10th level utility power, even if it is per-encounter. Making all other creatures invisible to you just seems like too much of a drawback for most situations. Sure, you could leave the invisible foes for last... but...

    Looking for more Warlock Pacts

There is an Ancestral Pact write up here: http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?t=229605

OAs, Combat Superiority, ending Movement and finishing square

An opportunity attack interrupts the action (pg 290) that provoked it, so I would assume that the creature is forced to stop in the square it attempted to leave.

    Converted Epic Destines

Hi, folks. I was bored last night/today, so I decided to try my hand out at converting the four relevant Epic Destines that were in this Dragon article a while back. The PDF is all rules text, read the linked article for the flavor text. Please feel free to leave comments/criticisms.

    Arrows Usable Once Only?

Or you could use shuriken instead of daggers all the time... slightly better damage too, for the rogue at least. If you don't want to think of "ninja stars" just call them "throwing knifes" instead...

    Zombie and Skeleton Minion Madness!

I think throwing on something like Resist All 5, Vulnerability (Radiant) 5 (just to cancel out the resist) on to the rotters would make them a bit tougher to match their level 3 status. Maybe include that Zombie Weakness to crits too, just for those rare cases of getting a crit and it doing...

    Healer's Lore and Melora's Tide

Melora's Tide gives regeneration rather than direct healing, so I'd have to say, no it doesn't get the Healer's Lore bonus. Raven Queen's Blessing and the Kord one, on the other hand... I'm not so sure about.

    Make initiative a skill

Both Quick Draw's and Improved Initiative's bonuses are feat bonuses, so they don't stack... <slight-rant>Not to go off-topic, but I'm not really seeing the need for both the reduction in feat useful'ness/power and the introduction of non-stacking "feat" bonuses. Of course, I'm not exactly fond...

FIFY: Ranger Class Feature - TWF.

Yeah, I think it is 1d6, but a two-weapon ranger under these rules is getting +2 dice steps (one from the feat, one from the class feature)... so, that's 1d10.

    Ancestral Pact (Heroic levels)

First let me say that I love the idea behind this pact. It's just nifty... Consider it stolen as an option for my players. :) -2 to attacks is probably fine. Edit: I just noticed that Witchfire, the fey pact inflicts the same penalty, so that might also be too strong. Heh, if all else fails...

    Thrown weapons and multiple targets

I agree carrying dozens of throwing axes is silly, but to me it's just as silly to have thrown weapons all be returning. Use shuriken if you must throw a weapon every round.

    Thrown weapons and multiple targets

Eh, thrown weapons have their own advantages, being able to be used in melee with out penalty, as well as always being able to be recovered after a battle. But, honestly, the only class who is probably going to be using thrown weapons with such powers is the rogue, which are automatically...

    Looking for...

One thing you have to remember is that the Racial Traits at the back of the monster manual are intended for NPC's or for players who really, really want to play that monster now. Take a look at the differences between the MM Warforged entry and the true PC-Race entry in Dragon, for example.

    Why no plate for fighters?

Yikes, I never realized how crappy chainmail was compared to the other heavy armors. I guess it is good for Clerics and Inspiring Presence Warlords... but anyone else has much better options.

    Perception: We've all gone blind!

Also, if you are wandering through a goblin cave, I'd think you would be actively looking for danger (and, therefore, using your active defense) rather than strolling on through like it was a walk through the park.

    Why no plate for fighters?

With a Paragon tier feat, Armor Specialization (Scale), yeah. Edit: My bad, Scale Armor has no check penalty, but does have a speed penalty, which Armor Specialization removes...

Stalker0's New Skill Challenge System (Version 1.0)

The [*code] tag just preserves extra whitespace (tabs and extra spaces), as well as having all characters take up the same amount of space. So you could have something like this: Level Easy Med Hard 1-3 14 17 21 4-6 15 18 23 7-9 17...
