Well look at it this way. Almost every drow that a party will encounter will have magic weapons of some power. Do you (as DM) really want your adventuring party to have multiple magic weapons? In my Underdark campaigns I found a good middle ground. The party was usually aware of the...
I stopped at my FLGS and saw that Underdark was out and looked through it. The "look through it" turned into 10-minutes. Now I am a fan of the Realms and of the Drow so I knew that I would at least be somewhat interested . But the book turned out even better than I thought. Lots of different...
Holy Crap! What a review, I had to stop reading it half way through because I was laughing so hard. I figure I'll wait until its out on video and then rent it.
Okay here's what I thought. Started making a character, nice and easy. Leveled up and everything. Didn't like the character sheet though, too big, too many pages. Need to have one that just takes up one page.

I do love the LotR movies and TT is a great film although inferior to FotR. But then I am a huge fan of the book and so I am usually looking to see how closely it matches the book.
My point about not considering TT as a sequel is that if they thought they could make money with an 9-hour movie...
I don't think their going to be completely ending the setting. Their evolving it with a major disaster/apocalypse. I figure their going to move the story line into the future. Really shake things up and how the game is played. Maybe evolving it into something like Dragonstar or Shadowrun.
