    Tumbling while flying?

"Land softly when falling.." means reducing damage taken from a fall with a tumble check, it doesn't mean 'you can't tumble while flying'.

Help Design a BBEG: Spellfire and Living spells

Living Waves of Exhaustion, have it grapple everyone. Living Cloudkill, Best. Ever. Living Blasphemy. really mean. Living Antimagic Field. game over man, game over.. Living Enervation should take the fight out of them pretty quick. Living Symbol of Insanity, make them kill each other...

    Disarm and cover, concealment, etc.

The reactionary return disarm attempt after a failed disarm attempt (barring the Imp Disarm feat) is not an AoO, so is unaffected by the rules for AoOs, and therefore not negated by cover. Much like Trip, you try to trip someone, there's a chance you can be tripped back, even around cover. The...

    Dimensional Spells

Cast Blink on himself. Then he is technically ethereal half the time, and can effect the Prime Material. Probably not how they intended it, but oh well. I kinda like how Shadowrun dealt with the Astral: If an astral creature cast a spell on a dual-natured or actively-magical something, the...

    Cat-2, Commoners-0

Pretty clean? Have you seen where they're digging every few hours? I'll pass on the litter critters. I scrub the whole area down with bleach every time I change the litter box contents.

Pitch me your ulitmate D&D movie

The first 2 books of the Spellsinger series by Alan Dean Foster. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spellsinger Looming invasion, foul-mouthed otter, stoner wannabe rock star, what more do you need? Oh, did I mention most of the characters are fuzzy? It'd be epic, and have an awesome soundtrack...

    More than one familiar?

No one ever sees a familiar until it's scouting time, then the bat in the cave arouses suspicion. Ditto the rat in the dungeon. Maybe someone just really likes their pets and made them immune to fire with any number of common spells. If some dude is swinging a glowing sword and throwing...

Spring Attack and some other questions

Half of our party spent most of a fight standing back up or attacking while prone because I didn't realize I could force an enemy to drop his flail. Reread the entry for Improved Trip like 8-10 rounds into the fight, just after someone killed the trip monkey. :\

    invisibility vs. dispel magic

If a confused person sees/hears you casting Dispel Magic on them, and has the Spellcraft roll to recognize it, then it would certainly fit the profile of hostile actions against the confused person. Your invisibility would be gone, and they would attack you on their next turn.

    Creatures immune to force damage?

The PrC Argent Savant gets their level in DR against force effects at some point in the class.

    Question: Attack of Opportunity Penalties?

TWF and Rapid Shot use the same format, i.e. normal attack(s) and the extra one that you gain suffer -x penalty, while AoOs are not effected. If Rapid Shot was supposed to apply to AoOs, it would specifically say so, because there is a precedent to how this was intended. (because Flurry of...

Spring Attack and some other questions

Actually, even with Improved Trip, failing to trip someone, either unarmed or with a weapon gives them a chance to trip you back. It just negates the AoO.

    Question: Attack of Opportunity Penalties?

You left out the rest of the section, which changes the entire meaning. If it just said The attack is at your highest base attack bonus, but each attack you make in that round takes a –2 penalty. This is clearly different wording than the similar mechanic of a Monk's Flurry of Blows, which...

    Creatures immune to force damage?

I like that idea. I was trying to come up with a workable conversion from SR to xd6 resistance to damaging spells. Or for SR to be like an extra save for half (or 1/4) instead of all or nothing.

Spring Attack and some other questions

I think it's in Complete Warrior, there is a feat called Rapid Stunning, which lets you use it more than once per round.

    More than one familiar?

Everyone in my games wants to give up their familiar for an extra feat, because NPCs always seem to know instinctively which fauna bleeds XP from the PCs. :\ Here's an idea: a Staff Familiar...that is a Living Spell  oh man, Living Black Blade of Disaster Spell, as a familiar :p...

    Question: Attack of Opportunity Penalties?

They would fall under normal attacks, because they are only usable during a full attack. The -2 from Rapid Shot counts for all attacks you make during that full attack, because it says so right in the feat. An AoO is not part of a full attack. The both daggers would be thrown at -4 (2 for TWF...

    Question: Attack of Opportunity Penalties?

That might be true, except that the TWF entry says: and doesn't say 'for one round', until your next turn' etc, and the last line of AoOs says: AoOs are not regular attacks, they are extra free attacks made at your full normal attack bonus, unless using CE, PA, or fighting defensively...
