It's not FREE, but you can get Halo2 pretty cheap used. I imagine most of the world has moved on to Halo3 or CoD4, but it's still an option.

The Past is not the Present, and Dragonlance doesn't sell like it used to. The new stuff just doesn't have the same energy.

I've never really gotten into multiplayer, I've done Halo 2 & 3, and a round or two of CoD4. The tactics involved rarely resemble anything logical. (Like Halo2's hopping, just... odd) It can be fun, but overall just doesn't draw me in. And, when I play, I just mute the damn thing. :)

It's not a budgetary thing, $50 into a "bluray fund" wouldn't do much for instant gratification. :) I'm not really in need of HD stuff, and don't buy many movies anyway. If they were movies I really wanted, but they're not...

My theory was simply that the 5 movie deal means $10 a movie, so if they were more to my liking... Aside from it still coming with King Kong, nay? It'll be interesting to see if they slash prices on the discs too, good time to fill in some collections.

So, the 360 add on is now $50. The "get 5" deal lasts through the 28th. Anyone gonna buy, now that the format is dead and prices are getting slashed? (If the selection was more full of things I really wanted, I'd get it, but I'm not sure. $10 a movie is a good price though...)

Side missions are kind of comparable to other games, like Oblivion. Once you've seen the same ruins for the 15th time, it loses luster. ME only has a few "models" of side-quest buildings, so it's noticeable.

I admit, I cheated. I was using the map book from my megamodule in some of the dungeon... So, yeah, a buggy game, but a pretty good adaptation I think. It also did a real neat job of the 3.5e rules. I haven't played in a while.
