Meeting EN Worlders in real life

Uh, no, I'm referring to Phenomenon. CANCON is a wargaming/board gaming/roleplaying/Card Games/Computer games con. It's very large and has been around a long time (I think 2003 is it's 25th year), but it's roleplaying support these days is very poor (unfortunately this seems true for most...

Meeting EN Worlders in real life

Well, I've been involved in running a convention here in Canberra for nine years now, and we love having special guests (not that we have for a few years, but we've had Ed Greenwood, Margaret Weis and others in the past)... So if you are thinking of coming, maybe we can work something out - and...

Meeting EN Worlders in real life

I haven't met anyone from Enworld, but several people I know do post here... However... last week I had a dream that Piratecat and some of his friends were visiting and staying at my house (not that the house in my dream was this house, but hey). Things were going ok, until I found my cat...

[OT] A dark day for Kai Lord....

btw, in the books, the event you mentioned isn't the end - there's still more that happens, with another good twist. Don't know if it will be in the movie, though. Duncan

For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

Re: techno-mages It's funny you mention that - I'm currently reading "The passing of the Techno-mages", a trilogy about the techno-mages during the shadow war. Duncan

Role playing moral dilemma, what would you do?

With such a large party I'd consider leaving some/most of the PCs there, and sending others back to civilisation. When getting to a city they should then contact a church or other such organisation that would help with the children, and then see if they can hire someone to help them teleport...

tournaments, fairs and taverns has anyone seen it yet?

It's been out for a long time now in PDF, so I'm sure lots have it. Are you perhaps referring to a print version? I'd like to get it, but have no $$$ atm. Duncan

For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

Sanackranib, If you join Scarntalk (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scarntalk/) you will find my calendar in the files section. Similar to the one that Nightfall sent you, mine shows each season in a seperate workbook, since you can then print each season on one page, which might satisfy your...

For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

No Problem, Nightfall - I think it probably was from mine, but I put it up for others to use :-) Also I post here under a pseudonym, while on the list it displays my real name. Duncan :-)

For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

Thanks, Nightfall - consider it downloaded... It looks quite similar to the one I did - no big surprise there, except that mine is broken up into the four seasons - one in each "workbook" ;-) Duncan

For those who run in the Scarred Lands what is your favorite area to adventure

Re: Re: scarred lands OK - Nightfall, could you put it up in the files section of one of the SL yahoo groups - either Scarntalk or Scarred Lands... I too did a calendar a few weeks ago which I put up on Scarntalk - not a single comment about it from anyone though :( Now I have R&RII I was...

    [OT] Ashes series

Just a thought - some may say it wasn't fair due to the injury of Jones, but if Hayden had been injured and unable to play - well, we still would have won... Duncan

    [OT] Ashes series

Ok, here goes.... There are two types of International cricket games - Test matches and One Day matches. One Day matches were invented in th 70s for Television. Each team gets to bat for a maximum of 50 overs (an over is 6 balls plus any for "foul" balls), and whoever has the better score...

Re: scarred lands That geets a 2nd from me. I too am currently running in Darakeene, so that the players can see some civilised area before the wildness of the rest of Ghelspad (since Darakeene was relatively unharmed during the Divine war, and was the centre of an earlier empire). I would...

The Liberation of Tenh Plot Thread

What should they do next? Difficult question - I think they should definately follow up on what's happened to Tau. But if I were in the party, I think now would be the time to try to "take it to the man" - they've dleared out most of the area they are in, now they need to try to get to the...
