Grenades have diminishing effects for increasing the area, thusly: Frag Grenade: 5d6 Fire and Piercing damage. 5 ft radius. 3d6 Fire and Piercing damage. 10 ft radius. 1d6 Fire and Piercing damage. 15 ft radius. Reflex save = DC 15 for half damage. The damage does not stack. In other words...

Having never seen the new series (and truthfully, I probably never will), how do the Vipers compare to the original Vipers? And are there rules for original series ships?

That all looks pretty much right. I don't see a power problem there, myself. But most of the characters in the games I've run have taken a few powers, and maxed them out, and keep them maxed... We were all Marvel Super Heroes players in the '80s and '90s, so it just makes sense that way.

Year of the Zombie is going dead tree version, but the PDF is nice, too. Also there's Blood and Brains by RPGO for a more lighthearted approach, with many iconic B-Movie type classes/professions. Year of the Zombie is gritty, and may offend delicate sensibilities. But it did make my 5th level...

Hellhound sent me Four Color to Fantasy and the D20 Modern version, a long time ago... I forget why, but after reading it a couple times, nothing clicked.... nothing grabbed me, ya know?

Yup. I'm a supers genre FREAK. Super freak, even. I'm very very critical of supers games (even though I LOVED the old D100 and color charts Marvel Super Heroes game), but I definitely endorse Blood and Vigilance without hesitation.

I picked up Battle Armor, but didn't bother with Battle Armor II. Keeping to the gadget system is a plus. There's at least one point in its favor.

And if so, how is it? Useful? Not? Well thought out? Mechanically solid?
