Yup. I love the different houses, and how each is known for something different. My D20 Future game makes use of it.

I know what I'd like to see... An official SpaceMaster (by Iron Crown Enterprises) D20 Future setting. Talk about chock full of plotted setting goodness..... MMMMMmmmmm....

Yeah. I remember the plug. Made me smile. For the NPCs... believe it or not, we actually went kinda old school and ROLLED every one of their stats rather than building on a template, or a standard set of stats. I know... crazy... But, we weren't really going for "same block different order"...

That's pretty tough... Let's see... In absolutely no order: Blood and Vigilance (RPGObjects) - The best D20 (any) Modern (specific) write up for super heroes. Hands down. The power points are elegant and yet oh so simple. Origins are awesome, and if you wanted to increase the power level...

Yeah. I like the Talent Trees... because really, they're just choosable class features. Or you might consider them class specific feats. I dig how flexible they are. You get to choose at every level. To each their own, though. Just sounds like if flexibility is what you're after, the D20 Modern...

Yeah. I spent a good portion of the weekend reading it, too... It's okay. There's some material worth mining. But I'll stick to D20 Modern.

So... I'm a little way into it, and I'm thinking I might go the Grim Tales route with it, as far as conversion goes. Meaning that I will likely take a lot of the class features, and turn them into Talent Trees (this is all just for my group's usage, of course). I think that'll work well enough...

Hmmm.... Now that they're PDF... It might be worth getting in order to mine for my other D20 Modern games. Opinion time... Would it be worth getting strictly as a resource for existing D20 Modern games? Or would it not be worth the conversion efforts? Just to put out front: I'm not interested...

There's also Modern Heroes: Martial Avengers. Some more talent trees in there, though I'm still anxiously awaiting the books for the other classes. ;)
