I got the free version on DDB, but I've never used it. Didn't like the tone and the Corporation schema put me off (not to mention the artwork). I was recently looking it again to see if I could use it for a better Bastion system, but it did not strike me as the way to go.

Many muskets from that time were purposely-built to be used as clubs after firing, but they tended to be shod or reinforced with metal to withstand being used thus. I'd be likely to consider it a masterwork level of quality myself.

If the DM let you use Shillelagh on the musket, I would think it would only be effective when you're using as a club. Wouldn't affect shooting with it. Though now I'm thinking about a Musket/Heat Metal combo - shoot the target and heat up the bullet stuck in them....

A balor is a type VI (6) Demon, as shown below. It being called a "Balor" was a late 2E thing when they were brought back for Planescape. It should also be noted that "Balor" is the name of a specific Type VI demon, not the "class". Which makes me wonder ... why was "Chain Devil" chosen...

As I recall, Code Monkey did the fixes to e-tools and then showed their work to WotC, getting the license to continue. If Code Monkey hadn’t stepped up, e-tools would have been DOA as the WotC developers said it couldn’t be fixed.
