Ok then, so what you guys are saying is that in the case of the Stone of Good Luck, it only applies to what's listed in the magic item description. What threw me off was that page 177 entry. It lists everything the bonus can apply to and then has the Stone of Luck right there as an example...

In the DMG page 177 is says that Luck bonuses improve: attacks, weapon damage, AC, saves, and checks. It then goes on to list a Stone of Good Luck as a sample magic item that grants this type of bonus. But on page 227 of the same book, under Stone of Good Luck, it says that the luck bonus only...

Wow! Can you tell me exaclty how the sorcerer can fire off 20+ in a day? Also, acid arrow IS powerful. Good thing a lowly 0-level Create Water spell poured over the victim can dilute most of the damage. ;) A large waterskin works almost as good too.

But why bother taking two rounds to kill them when you can just shoot these uber-AC kobolds with Magic Missile? A single Magic Missile should be able to take out a kobold. Or better yet, take out the whole lot of them with Sleep, or Color Spray, or Hypnotism, or etc, etc, etc.. My point is...

Would the Protection from Evil spell give you a +2 on the FORT save against the poison on an evil person's sword? Along the same lines, how about if the poison was part of a natural attack, like a bite? One of our players argued that the poison itself, once in your bloodstream, is not...
