I think we have all done it from time to time. I once had a wizard named Metamucil with a cat familiar named Ex-Lax. Hey, if you didn't know where I got the names from, you might agree that they sound like good names for a wizard and familiar, right? :D
Our DM does the same thing. But to make it even more interesting, he rolls 3 differently colored dice and if we want one of his rolls, we have to call out the color. I wished I had ESP many times in the past...
Now about the subject of this thread; I hate to say this, but the only good solid...
Since you liked that thread I took the time to dig up another thread I remembered on this subject. In this thread, I detailed the method I wound up using when it was my turn to DM. Take a look, it reads more complicated than it actually is.

Here is an old thread where I asked pretty much the same question and got a lot of good responses...

(I am surprised that thread is still available!)
Yes, but what I really wanted to know was if there is going to be a D&D commercial or not during this show. Oh well, I guess I will just have to watch it. I was planning to already due to the topic.
Forgive me if this is old news and everybody already knows about it. But I saw this and it really surprised me. Go here and look at the bottom to see a familiar logo among the sponsors:

Does anyone know anything about WOTC's connection with this...
I have a cleric that gets True Strike and Shield through a single level of sorcerer. I recently bought a Lesser Metamagic Rod:Quicken.
Since I can't use the rod to quicken those two sorcerer spells into a Free Action, I am thinking of taking the Arcane Preparation feat. But this has...
If you have read this far, here then is my non-dwarf elven cleric.

Elf(Wood); AL CG

Atk +6 (1d8+3,20/x3, Mighty composite longbow (+3 Str bonus))
OR +4/+4...
Ah. I suspected as much.
Ok, fine, yet another wood-elf cleric of Labelas Enoreth it is then. Mind you, *I've* never run one, but I undertsand they are very popular.
Thanks!
Ok, uh, he was an orphan, yeah, and he was, uh, left on the doorstep of the elven temple, and uh, prior to that he was raised by apes....and uh....yeah that's the ticket....
You know, after typing that last message the full silliness of having a dwarf worship an Elven god just struck me.
But that's not to say I am not going to try to get it passed. ;)
I am looking to build your typical cleric archer, but with a twist. Just to be different, I want to make him a dwarf!
However, in FR I could not find any good dwarven diety as well suited to archers as the elven dieties. Soooo....
Is it possible for a dwarf cleric to worship a elven...
