The original Japanese version of Iron Chef was great. It was a great mix of funny translations, over the top tension, and amazing dishes.

I went with what I posted earlier in the thread as wishlist classes: barbarian (with some thief/athletics skills) and alchemist (hopefully using potions with unpredictable results).

My take is the SD Jester class is more closely aligned with the Jester from Darkest Dungeon video game, or the Joker from Batman.

I still have Mercenaries, Spies, & Private Eyes sitting on my bookshelf. I don’t think I ever played it. Might need to pull it down and give it a read.

IMO, Sigil was never a good idea. VTT’s have to strike the right balance of being accessible on many types of devices, intuitive and easy to set up and run, and importantly, does not distract from the adventure itself. From what I saw, Sigil failed to achieve most, if not all these aspects.

Maybe name a tavern or inn after him. A place the PCs can go to unwind between excursions. He could be a legendary hero the pub is named after, where the patrons regularly toast his name for good luck before setting off on an adventure.

Also if running a gauntlet, I like using the background and starting equipment tables from DCC. Bring on the gongfarmers!

I love the favor of DCC, and many of the rules that come with it, but never been a fan of the funky dice. I’ve been thinking of more ways to integrate some DCC elements into SD, and spellburn + magic item spells from DCC are absolutely great ideas.
