    Supers Conversions: Need Some Please

Where are you going to post them? I've been trying to find conversions to Mother One, Grail and Backlash for a very long time. Please keep us informed. I'll have to keep my eyes open for the new Wetworks issues.

    Anyone got Mindshadows?

I thought it was good although, like you, I could have done without the typical fantasy races. I wouldn't go as far as eliminating all non-human races but a set of different races would have been nice. Elves, dwarves and halflings just don't fit the setting. YMMV. The book itself is good and...

So Draconomicon looks awesome. Should WotC put out more books on other monsters

I'd be all over a Githyanki/Githzerai/Mind Flayer book although I doubt we'll ever see it. Undead might be nice, especially if it includes a core Necromancer class. Giants would bore me to tears. I find them about as exiting as your average orc. SNORE!!

Best RPG books any system, any publisher

Life on Terra Nova for the Heavy Gear RPG. No matter what rule system you are using, this 95% rule-free book presents a complete sci-fi setting with depth hardly seen anywhere else. When people ask me for a recommendation it's always at the top of my list.

    Large starship deckplans

It's probably not what you had in mind but I found some concept drawings of the Nostromo here: http://members.fortunecity.com/wendhausen/BRStarshipsv3/profile/aliens/nostromo.htm just do a google search on alien and nostromo or sulaco. You also get some funny results if you try Wayland-...

    Large starship deckplans

I don't know if this will be of much help but Jovian Chronicles has some great schematics for various vehicles in some of their products: http://www.dp9.com/Products/DP9-315.htm Also the Ships of the Fleet series of books has some great schematics and interiors. The only problem I can see is...

How long does it take you to create a PC?

I'm not complaining as I actually enjoy making characters but I'm noticing that creating a PC takes me far longer than most other people. I'm sure a large part of it is due to the fact that most of the characters I make are higher level (15+) and always include at least one Prestige Class. As...

[OT] Any Tour de France Fans out there?

Yes, it does. Just last week we had a couple south american national teams play exibition games in the city but I can't say I follow those leagues. The Champions Cup, The EuroCup, The Spanish league and the World cup is about it for me.

[OT] Any Tour de France Fans out there?

I'm a bigger fan of the Vuelta a Espana, but that's because I used to live in Madrid. At the time it was a very big deal in Spain. I can only imagine it still is but I hear nothing about it here in San Francisco, CA. As a result I don't really follow the sport anymore. It'd be nice if I could...

    Looking for a city setting

Freeport, Bluffside and Genueave might work. I preffer my cities a little on the weird side so I'd like to second the city of Manifest as presented in Ghostwalk. Others you might consider include: Splintered Peace (Atlas Games) Seven Cities (Atlas Games) Hollowfaust - City of Necromancers...

    Dragon/Dungeon/Polyhedron Magazine Index

Nice! Amazing what you can find on the internet. I hated when they put these things inside the magazine, I always thought of them as a waste of space. On the net however, it makes perfect sense.

    3.5 interior pictures!

If lines are your biggest beef then I think we have little to worry about. Call me silly but I think that has to be the most inocuous detail of the entire book.

    Compelling D&D Images

Great stuff. Seeing Willingham is a treat. I completely forgot about him. 1st and 2nd edition material certainly deserves special mention and I will admit that it is definitely better than 3rd edition material in one important way and that is that previous to 3rd edition many of the...

    Compelling D&D Images

Funny, Elmore does nothing for me. Obviously the guy is talented but his images, IMO, lack any sense of motion and come across as static. The people in them always seem to be posing. I'm glad WotC has moved on. Elmore, to me, defines what D&D was in the early to mid 90's. No need to revisit the...

    Compelling D&D Images

I'm with The Serge on this one, the three images in the latest issues of Dragon and Dungeon are spectacular. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed them. Wayne Reynolds is a genius. I have a ton of favorite pieces, most of which I'd have a difficult time describing as well as The Serge did...

Is D20 Future going to use D20M rules?

It's nice to see Mr. Ryan giving us a little info to nibble on. I can't wait to see this book. I'm glad to see that I was wrong about my predictions of D20Future and magic. as long as we get psionics I'll be happy. So they are not going to provide a default setting like UrbArc. I wonder if...
