    D&D 4E I'm not gonna do 4E

I'll buy it. Then again, I buy game books all the time. Another $100 here or there isn't going to affect me much. Instead of buying the next 3.5 book I'll be buying the next 4.0 book. It's all the same to me.

Dragon/Dungeon What Option Did You Take?

I went with Pathfinder. I figure I'll stick around for the first 6 "issues" and reevaluate after that. If 4th edition is indeed anounced at Gen Con and third party publishers are allowed to write supplements for it then I'll continue with the subscription. If not I think Paizo will have bigger...

Starcraft RPG: Who would be interested?

I'd buy that. Actually someone on the PC Gamer podcast suggested Blizzard try a Diablo style Starcraft game. An Action RPG if you will. I'd buy that too but the pen and paper variety would work for now.

Chris Pramas (Green Ronin) on the future of D&D

As a native spanish speaker (I was raised in Madrid) I find proper spanish pronunciation when speaking english anoying as hell. Pick a language and speak it. Blending them just bastardizes them both. Just an opinion of course. As an aside, I also lived in Mexico City for a couple of years...

Chris Pramas (Green Ronin) on the future of D&D

Chris works in the industry and therefore has a vested interest in seeing it do well. Even though some of his comments may seem negative it only makes me pay that much more attention to what he says. He doesn't provide any new revelations but he does reiterate points that need repeating such as...

Chris Pramas (Green Ronin) on the future of D&D

Don't kid yourself, he does talk about Green Ronin and it's upcoming catalogue of products. He also hints at a big announcement that they were going to release at the Gama Trade Show this week. Anyone know what that's all about?

Chris Pramas (Green Ronin) on the future of D&D

For those who are interested Chris Pramas, from Green Ronin, did an interview last week on the 2d6 Feet in a Random Direction podcast (episode 16). He has some interesting and insightful things to say about what he thinks might be the future of D&D or at least some of the hurdles facing the...

    What is a good non-d20 sci-fi RPG?

I'd use Jovian Chronicles. The rules are all there which means little to no work at all for you. You might glance at it and think it's all mecha and big robots. You'd be wrong. Ignoring all those unwanted elements is as easy as..err...ignoring them completely. No work AT ALL needed on your part...

    When should we expect answers?

I know I'm not the first to suggest this but perhaps WotC is waiting to fill us in on the Digital Initiative because they wanted to give Paizo a week or two to hype their new product. WotC perhaps feels bad about pulling the rug out from under Paizo's feet and this is a small way for them to...

I'm stocked for life! (But what if no one cares?)

I don't have anything against retired or "unsuported" systems but i doubt I'll be looking back to 3.x once 4th edition is out. Unless the new edition (when and if it ever comes out) is flawed I'm fairly certain I'll move on. Perhaps this is due to the fact that cost is not that big a deal to...

Who is interested in the Digital Initiative?

Sure I'm interested but I'm not buying anything until I have a firm grasp of what is being offered and what price they're asking for it. Until then it's just speculation.

It's time WotC fill us in on their digital initiative

Thanks for that. Although it's not really an explanation what the digital initiative will be it does help. My favorite part is Chritopher Perkins' note where he states: "Nothing this good ever dies." I know many people out there were not big buyers of either magazine but to me personally the...

It's time WotC fill us in on their digital initiative

All this rampant speculation by people (including myself) on this and other message boards is getting a bit ridiculous. I get that this is the internet and such "debate" (for lack of a better word) is normal but I don't see WotC's continued silence as helping them at all. We know almost nothing...

WotC is going online. What do you want the digital initiative to be?

wishlists are always fun even though I doubt we'll get a quarter of what people are asking for. I'd be happy with a PC generator that incorporates the 3 core books and the XPH. Would I like them to incorporate the entire D&D library? Of course I would but that will never happen. I also loathe...

Demons and the adventure is for PC's of 9th-12th level? I'm surprised. I'm buying it. Looks great.

What books would you like to see WOTC do

I'm over more buying any more crunch books. We have all the crunch we need at this point. I'd like to see: Fiendish Codex III A new campaign setting would be nice. More books about the Realms and Eberron would also be good. I would have preferred it if Secrets of Sarlona had been a 350 page...

Demonomicon - after the big 14?

James, What are your plans after the "big 14"? I doubt you'll give us an answer but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Demonomicon - after the big 14?

What he said. I don't even recognize any of the names on that list. I've also always found devils to be much more interesting than demons but that's just me. Another option would be to do an in depth series on the lords of Geheena. I don't know if WotC has a FC III planned or not but it's a...

    Magic Item Compendium

you might want to read the articles WotC has on their website about how they put the book together. Bottom line is that many, if not most, of the magic items that have appeared before the MIC sucked ass so they dropped them completely.
