    Serenity Update...

That was a cool trailer, with one exception: sound in space. One thing I loved about the series was that the space scenes were silent. It's so rarely done that it's a treat when it is. Other than that minor disappointment, I wish I had a time machine so I could jump forward and see the film :)

    Zombie Scenario Survival Test!

89% for me. Though I must say that if zombies were to attack tonight, I'd be screwed. First floor apartment with a sliding glass door = zombie chow.

    Stargate Atlantis {Spoiler Talk} 3//11/05

To be precise, it was Tanith in service of Anubis (whom we had not yet seen, nor had been mentioned) who destroyed the Tollen. Guess that'll learn Norrim for getting close to Carter. :) IIRC, the actor was reused in the Atlantis pilot as Dr. Wier's boyfriend. I couldn't help thinking "Hey...

"Buffy-vivor": Pick the ultimate Buffy episode! (Come vote in the finals!)

I have a theory... that it's time to silence Hush. I vote OMWF!

    Stargate SG-1 {Spoiler Talk} 3.4.05

I hope RepliCarter didn't get away. I haven't been a fan of the Replicators ever since they started producing humanoid ones. IMO, they worked better as an "early Borg-like" threat, an implacable, unknowable foe. I love seeing the little (and big) bugs. I hate seeing the humanoids...

Much as I like it, Passion has to go.

    Sundering a Magic Weapon

Besides, sundered magical weapons aren't completely destroyed. They can be repaired by people with the appropriate item creation feat, though it isn't cheap.

    Reccomend some (non-RPG) games

This doesn't work for two people, but a great 3-5 player game is Puerto Rico. The boardgamegeek.com reviews of this title are rather informative, so I suggest checking them out.

Bambi DVD - Why should I buy?

Great. Now I've got images of a cute skunk proclaiming "No power in the 'verse can stop me" in my mind. Thanks. :)

    Steel Balls...

Steel was probably substituted for glass to avoid the possibility of a DM saying "Well, the glass balls shatter under the weight of the robot." Warforged are, in essence, androids designed for combat and with built-in armor. They can buy feats that give them mithral or adamantine armor plating...

    Entangle

Regrettably, I don't think they could have. Ready is a combat action, and they weren't yet in combat. If they had won initiative in the surprise round, they could have, but otherwise not.

The Gift. I shall have my vengence for the wretched season 5!

    Lol

I'd go with the astronaut. After all, they have by their very nature access to orbital bombardment.

    Mage the Ascension Question

Yikes! How much of a backlash did the ensuing Ball of Abysmal Flame cause?

    Mage the Ascension Question

I love Mage. It was my favorite WW game for many years, until I picked up Exalted about a year and a half ago. Having found this thread late, many of the other posters made the points I would have. For my part, I recommend mixing the setting from Second Edition with the magic system from...

Core concept or rule that just bugs you beyond your ability to put up with it?

I wouldn't say they got the shaft. True, you get the modifier at the even numbered ability score, but the odd scores are what count for feat prereqs, at least according to the design philosopy I seem to recall reading at one point. Thus, Power Attack requires 13+, Combat Expertise requires...

Tough call. For me, it's between The Body and The Gift. I think I'm going to go with... (flips coin) The Body.

    Couple of questions

If by "defeated" you mean "destroyed", then I'd say that the original animating magic has gone out of the pieces, and you'd have to make a new one rather than just repair the one that was. If, however, you managed to subdue it without destroying it, then you could repair it. However, it would...
