How does the game support role-playing? Any mechanics of that sort? How do you aid DMs with their job? What kind of advice will the game offer? Seriously what will be in DMG? The book is most obscure of the three? Any hint about what it will contain?

My main problem with DI is that ... I have no credit card. Seriously, I know in USA/West Europe this is not a problem, but round here banks are more cautious and will not give you card unless you have really good income (which I haven't). Yeah... still in the period of mostly cash economics...

I agree with most said, though I like more those low-mid levels like 3-6 rather than those mentioned 7-14.

Well Ryan... the problem as I see it, there are two problems, as I see them. First, in you research you speak about some generall preferences common for all gamers. Which is fine with me. Though GNS somehow doesn't present all these preferences in games produced with this philosophy...

Well... let's take two axioms. There are 8 core classes. Those mentioned by James Wyatt are the right ones. Fighter (might contain say Monk) Paladin (and also Blackguard) Cleric (might containt Druid) Warlord (might contain say Barbarian and/or Bard) Wizard Ranger (and also contains Scout)...

I must admit, that I am seriously surprised by Ryan Dancey's conclusion of his article series. I was seeing the course he is heading, but I didn't wanted to belive. I mean, his (Dancey's) research about 2 axis model and what players want etc. is usually used as counterargument to Ron Edwards...
