We meet weekly on Sundays from 4-8 pm in SE Calgary. - fun, casual group new gamers welcome. - looking for people that are a good fit, no drinking, smoking, etc appropriate guest behavior expected. Summer is always a tough time, but we plan to meet as often as possible.

Not familiar with this . . .what's 30 second elevator pitch on why / how it's different than 5E, Pathfinder, etc?

High / low DEX has no game effect then, along with Alert Feat, etc . . ?

Been tinkering with using Savage Worlds system - deck of playing cards, counting down Ace to Deuce. Great system, easy to keep track of who's taken a turn, who hasn't, bigger groups, etc. Jokers get to go whenever they want, even interrupt another turn and so on. High DEX etc get to draw again...

I know for sure you cannot take music without permission from the owner, and you have to pay for the privilege. I can't buy a blu ray and then charge people admission to play it at my theatre, why are RPG's different? Licensed for private non commercial home viewing and all that jazz.

Not intended as a snark, genuinely curious on (financially) profiting from someone else's work without compensating them? Is there any kind of licensing etc for video game places / tournaments and so on? Does DM for hire fall under the OGL? What about using Curse of Strahd etc? Playing D&D...

Totally agree. I don't mind occasional slip or what have you but makes it hard to listen to. Dice Camera Action is pretty squeaky clean, I think I could count on one hand the times something has slipped through.

Thinking of trying this for group, we have several different GMs / campaigns and would like to get feedback on each. As a player / GM what kinds questions would you like to answer and why?

Party is 10th level, instead of playing PC thought it would be fun to play a critter instead. Not that it matters, party has rogue, cleric, and fighter type.

I initially thought it was guild product as well. People were wanting different things (Eberron/Planescape). I was hoping for something new . . . oh well. That being said, I can see the appeal and presume this is going to sell like gangbusters. It has way more appeal to me than 1 huge adventure...
